In school I’m known as a “nerd” and I only focus on my studies and getting my work done. This makes me seem short tempered and rude when people bother me but yeah.. I’m easily annoyed.
Heart of glass... I’m sensitive.. people don’t see that and they do hurtful things and say hurtful things. None of them realize what constant pressure I’m under.. my mom is always telling me to try my hardest and even if I get an 88 on a paper (passing) then it’s still not good enough because it’s not a 90 or above. I tell her I try my hardest and she says (quote)
“I know you ‘try your best’ Avery but when you REALLY try hard I get, 94s, 90s, 97s..”
I have a mind of stone because all that matters is school, always and forever will I be trapped by my studies..
And heart of glass because I’m sensitive and empathetic and nobody can realize that so when I get close to someone it’s like an addiction and I can never let them go..
When my best friend left me you better believe my self-esteem plummeted.. back then my best friends (from 3rd Grade) all had other people to hang out with and we never talked much so when (friend who left) Karen (not really her name) stopped hanging out with me my heart was hurt..
