    The slimmest ‘wallet’ is perhaps just using rubber bands. Easy access, adjustable by winding the bands, slip in an rfid and you’re all set.
    Cheap too. Comes in multiple colors and width range.

    I like bi-fold it’s closer to a traditional wallet.

    Tysm for this! I’ve been on the hunt for a helpful video to aid my search for an anniversary present for my husband, and this is the only I’ve seen with an actual recommendation, and a well reasoned one, no less. Really appreciate you sharing 👍🏼

    Or just get an old school eel skin wallet that's super thin and holds as much if not more. The only negative that both the Bifold and eel skin wallet have in common is the lack of RFID protection.

    Your reviews are very good 👍 thanks for the time and effort. I have the George Costanzo model with the extra rubber band. My wife gets a bit embarrassed 😳...now I have a great idea/alternative. 😊

    Thank you for the review gentleman. I will definitely look further into the magnetic bifold.

    Very, very interesting, especially the bi-fold. Cash storage is important to me. I was a little puzzled about the magnetic card holder -- wouldn't magnetism have a detrimental effect on card stripes? One of the best wallet reviews I've seen. Very informative.

      @TheDadBod  Před 11 měsíci

      Magnets aren’t really that bad on credit cards anymore. They’re bad for cards like hotel RFID door cards but even still, you have to have them right on eachother and a stronger magnet.

    My big question about the bifold is - Does money stick out the top? I read reviews on the site and some ppl claim American money won't fit.. Ah yes they also claim that cash will just randomly fall out. Not sure how that would happen but I notice you really like the bifold. I'm a big bifold believer.

    1) Is the bifold wallet RFID safe? 2) Does it have that hidden flap for receipts? 3) How does that magnetic bit affect the magnetic strips on the credit cards?

    I wish they had a parliament wallet but with a bifold for money instead of the money strap

      LOL.
      No. Not my license. But some credit cards and medical cards. But they’ll need the key to get into my center console. And that’s after the car alarm and driveway motion alarms get them. I’m a big fan of technology. I’m moving in 2 weeks and my wife suggested biometric fingerprint reader for the door so the kids don’t need to carry a key. I’m super excited to try some out.

    Is there such a wallet that combines the bifold with a card pop up?

      Probably out there somewhere. But I’ve not seen one.

    Question: Don't magnets mess up credit cards overtime?

    • @TheDadBod
      @TheDadBod  Před rokem

      I mean, If you think about it logically, there are millions of purses and wallets and card holders that are sold each year that contain magnets. If the magnets were ruining the credit cards, people would be in an uproar.
      I’ve been using magnetic wallets for about 3 years now without issue.
      As a non-scientist, yes. If you put a magnet right up against a credit card for a long time (or a significantly strong magnet), it’ll ruin it. But the magnets in wallets aren’t coming in direct contact so I think that has a lot to do with it according to several articles I read.

      Email them for their warranty.
      That’s similar to the issue I had with my first one and they told me that their warranty covers that.

    • @TheDadBod
      @TheDadBod  Před rokem +1

      It is.
      I’ve been working on a comparison of the different trackers for my other channel. I’m a bit disappointed in most of the trackers out there.

    • @TheDadBod
      @TheDadBod  Před rokem +2

      I’ve been comparing the ekster tracker, the Chipolo spot one, air tag, tile, samesung galaxy tag. None are really good. Or all that accurate.
      They’re good for telling you the last place something was spotted but that’s about it.
      For real time tracking, the air tag is best. Sometimes it’s 5 minutes past, sometimes 30 minutes past; but it has the most options for getting a signal. The video should be out in 2-3 weeks but it’s from an apple phone point of view.
      Samsung only connects to Samsung and only pings off of Samsung phones with the app installed. Which is very limited.
      Chipolo is ok. Works with all. Audio is limited. The spot one is louder but it works on the same network as the air tag.
      Tile is ok. But quiet.
      Air tag is a little quieter than the spot one but it can be tracked to within a half a foot whereas the spot one can be tracked to basically the room.

      @The Dad Bod FYI- just activated the white 2020 Chipolo. Much smaller and much louder than Ekster solar tracker. Sound does diminish under bills or aluminum plate. . Wish it was black to match Black Aluminum card holder, though. But happy with it. Downside is tracker due to battery only good for year.

    I don’t want to be picky about your reviews. The observations are well presented. I fear that some will disregard your videos because of mispronunciation. Embossed has “boss” like employer in the middle. Check Dictionary for pronunciation symbols.
