    About video: Dahi Bhally,Dahi Barry, is a popular snack in India, Pakistan made with deep-fried lentil / besan balls, topped with sweet and spicy chutneys, yogurt, and chaat masala. Here is a recipe to make it at home:
    Ingredients:
    • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
    • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
    • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/4 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp salt or to test
    • Water 1/2 cup (as required)
    Oil (for frying)
    Ingredients for Dahi
    • 2 cups yogurt (dahi)
    • 1/2 Cup milk
    • 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
    • 1 tsp Chopped green chilies
    Ingredients for tarka
    • 2 tbsp Oil
    • 2 green chilies
    • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    • 4-6 Mint Leaves
    Ingredients for without tarka
    • Tamarind chutney (as required)
    • Nimco sieve
    • Chaat masala (as required)
    • Chopped Coriander leaves (for garnish)
    Instructions:
    - In a mixing bowl, add gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and baking soda. Mix well.
    - Add water little by little to make a smooth batter of pouring consistency. Set aside for 25-30 minutes.
    - Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
    - Take a spoonful of batter and drop it into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, then remove from the oil and pour on water and rest for (15-20 minutes).
    - In a separate bowl, add yogurt milk and whisk the yogurt until smooth, add salt, chopped green chilies, red chili powder, and cumin powder and Mix well.
    - Squeeze out the water from baray and add in a bowl then pour yogurt Mixture over the baray.
    Tarka preparation
    - To make the tarka, heat oil in a small pan and add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies and some mint leaves, Once the spices begin to sizzle and become fragrant, pour the mixture over the yogurt.
    - Tarka Dahi baray are ready to eat enjoy!
    Dahi Baray without tarka
    - Drizzle tamarind chutney, sieve, on top and sprinkle with chaat masala and chopped coriander leaves.
    Your Dahi Baray are ready to serve. Enjoy!
