Beleive it or not had a customer abandoned two of these turbos on me and the trailer never came to pick them up I am trying to get titles for them as week speak. The amazing thing is he shoved them out in the weeds no cover no nothing for over two years in the Nev desert last week I went to try and get them running expecting the blocks to be cracked from the harsh winters . They both started and ran with 2 years old gas and the blocks where not cracked I have no clue why. Honda makes some good shit your video really energized me to get the titles on them even more I sure hope I can get titles its amazing what people dump and abandoned and they are both turbos
oil change, fresh fuel filter, drain the gas and you will have two of the best jet skis ever made in the history of waterspouts for forced induction reliability.
@@ChuckyWright I had the post office here change out all the locks and force new address's on us and I went in got the new box and new forward as they told us to do. The cert letter I sent to Idaho is MIA for the skis and so is all my other mail and my cert I sent to the IRS I havent any mail in over a month cant get anybody to help me. So my Titles on the skis I have no clue if I am going to be able to get them or not they really f d us at the post office . I did notice on one of the skis when I pulled the hose off for the turbo there was a little oil in the boost side. Its going to need seals and a rebuild I did find a rebuild kit but they are spendy. I checked the bearings and they are tight no slop . I still cant believe they fired off with two year old gas and no winterizing and there is no cracked blocks . I even called a Honda dealer about 6 months ago and they said your block is prob toast so I expected the worst. Honda must have some drain back in the block and manifolds there should of been milkshake in the oil just amazes me the quality they make. We had a really nasty winter this year and last way into April I am going to make a You Tube on these eventually I got my channel launched about five months ago but only have one video up it sucks but i am still learning . Editing is hard to learn right now I have no clue if I will ever get titles or not have a good one

you can buy bigger antenna kits for the phantom editions. $35 on amazon, will 5x the range. I got mine to 320m high, and about 1500ft away
These are the non turbo r12 right and the top speed is still over 60? 2004 model

Those are both F-12X models. If you see one without the X then it's a non-turbo Model. Mines a 2007 Turbo model. Wouldn't have bought it if I had known they were coming out with the F-15X in 2008, a 1.5L Turbo beast.

I am looking at a 2006 Honda auqutrax r-12x with 100 hours and I will be using it in the salt water but I will be flushing it out every time of use do you think its worth it?
I’m looking at a pair with just over 100 hours on each one I’ve been reading that these are not only fast and fun but very reliable I’m thinking about pulling the trigger myself. Did you buy?
@@Ratbiker48 YES!! i bought one and it rips!! I will do 72 and it is the turbo model!! I ride in the puget sound, wich is salt water and so i cant leave it in at night because the turbo is cooled by water. But best machine i have ever ride on!! Definitly by! How much for the pair?
@@karenschlosser3370 one has 109 hrs and the other has 103 hrs on it both on nice double trailer both look almost showroom condition he’s asking $9500 for the pair
@@karenschlosser3370 I’m just nervous that since Honda quit making Jet Skis that parts are going to be beyond a pain in the ass to find and expensive when or if you do find them
@@Ratbiker48 Ya I was in the same boat but ours had 25 hours and they guy was asking 5k so it was a steal. I think that sounds like a good deal. the parts can be available through 3rd party websites so I didn't worry to much about that.

ya I paid 6500 for both of mine one had 80 hrs and the other had a brand new motor and 160 hrs I think, but I also got a stupid good deal
No. They were descent machines when new, but are plagued with ECU and turbo troubles. Parts are getting scarce and pricey as well. Pick up a used Yamaha or 15f Kawasaki if you want reliability.
