    I know you mentioned that the ProtectiveClean isn't compatible due to size, but are there any models other than the 9900 that are compatible with the 9900's USB C charging case? USB C charging is the #1 thing I'm looking for in a new brush.

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 7 měsíci

      I don't think there is a compatible handle other than the 9900.
      If you particularly want USB-C charging in the case, have you considered SURI?

      @@ElectricTeeth it’s absolutely amazing, it actually feels like i just got a cleaning every time I use it. It’s a massive upgrade compared to the 10$ electric one I was using before and tbh idc that it’s 400$ after the first use I was sold

    Can a brush head be stored in the prestige travel case or just the handle?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 5 měsíci

      1 brush head can fit into the Sonicare Prestige 9900 travel case alongside the handle itself.
      Where many travel cases have space for 2, the Prestige travel case has space for just 1.

    I have a 7300 toothbrush with charging travel case, how do I find out what it’s battery health is? And how many recharges can it do?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 2 měsíci

      There is no way of finding this information out. There is no perfect formula for keeping the battery in great shape. But as a general rule if you discharge it to around 20% and top it up to 80-100%, so you are giving it fuller charges and not constantly leaving it on the charger, you may find you extend the usable life.

    So I just bought the 9000 and I thought it was just like what I had. What I had just quit on me. Very upsetting at that price. The new one, there is glass, so after looking at your video i just put the tooth brush in the glass and plug it in and voila it is charging. The other option is the case. Put the tooth brush in the case and then voila it is charging, Is that correct?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 7 měsíci

      Yes this is typically the situation with the DiamondClean 9000. You should get the beeps & vibration from the handle when placed in the glass or charging case to confirm.
      You should also see the LED on the handle change colour based on the charge staus.

    Can the diamondcare travel charging case charge Flexcare?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I don't have them both to hand to confirm 100% but if memory serves me correctly, I don't think so. The charging stand configuration has a large part to play.

    My new Sonicare 2100 has been charging (flashing light) for more than 36 hours! Should I wait or contact Philips? Thanks. Excellent video.

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 2 měsíci

      Hmm that is a long time. It could be worth contacting them. Or what you could also try is using the brush until the battery is flat and then recharge it fully again. Sometimes this can fix issues like this.

    I bought a Phillips Sonicare about 5 years ago, charged it and used it once only because I found it to be a bit harsh. My dentist suggested trying it again. However, the battery (handle) won't charge. Has it been too long without charging and is not able to charge again?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Possibly. Leave it on charge for 24 hours or so to give it a good opportunity to sort itself out. If it still doesn't power on then it seems like you will need to replace it.

      @@ElectricTeeth I decided to give it one more chance to charge, and I noticed that after about 2 hours, that one little green light started flashing. It took at least 24 hours I think to fully charge. So your belated advice was bang on. Thanks.

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 8 měsíci

      Superb. Lots of Sonicare brushes can take up to 24 hours to charge fully. But it can take longer for the charging to properly begin if the battery is completely flat. Great to read it is now working again. I how you get on better with it this time. 👍

      This is subjective.
      If I had to pick of the models available, I would go with the Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige.

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 8 měsíci

      The ultimate brush is the Sonicare Prestige as @hudizzle3289 says. But, you can't easily change modes on it, you need to use the app. But, you don't need the extra modes.
      In reality, much more affordable models like the Sonicare 4100 Series are perfectly adequate. There are extra features on premium models that make daily use a bit better but not game changers or must have's.
