Considering this is the first content by Toast I've watched and enjoyed since Toast quit playing Among Us...
I still watch it mainly the morning lobby other ones mostly just messing around at least the morning lobby is one that tries hard.
I watch among us academy, rk gaming, 5up and koji whenever they post new among us content. I watch among us content every day. I've even started watching toast and Sykkunos old among vids again.

I'm surprised too. I reckon the thinking is it wasnt a particular interesting game, and they stopped right after so there's nothing else to use for content, but still. It's what TOast is most know for and it's delegated to a channel people dont know exists.

Uhhh, i wouldnt say it "launched" their career, a lot of them were already known. Especially Toast. It fine if thats how YOU found them, but it increased their audience as any popular game trend would. Besides they said they stopped playing because of burn out(atleast toast and i think rae did) which is fair. Also what negativity? Toast was just playing the game, Scarra immediately left but he was never big on the Among us content.. infact a lot of the players didn't continue playing Among Us for long as Toast Rae or Syjunno, like Jodi John Sydney. So i think it fair for them to revisit this as a meme, not saddening or negative about it.

I remember when I was 15 watching sykkuno and rae doing babushka. Since then, I've finished high school, got into college, finished college, had my first girlfriend, broke up, I'm with another one and we are expecting a baby now. I'm working full time and couldn't be happier with my job. I'm turning 28 next month and it feels just the same watching you guys. Thank you so much for this nostalgia :)
congrats on the baby! I started watching among us streams at age 10 one day during winter break and returned every week since then. am now 30 with a double PhD, still sometimes put on the old videos for my kids. what a journey! :')

I don’t usually comment in videos. But I just wanted to say that I still love rewatching the old among us videos. I appreciate you posting this video because I know that realistically we won’t get new among us videos because just a few like me keep watching them(well I just watch toast, don’t know about other creators) and they are not as fun for the creators anymore. The among us videos made me look forward to something during the pandemic and the videos were just a lot of friends having fun playing the game. Love the videos
For real, I felt less lonely back then because I was watching them mess around. All of it was fun, like alllll of it. When they were serious, when they were trolling, playing with different kinds of creators, when they roleplayed... even when there was drama it was so freaking entertaining, such a fun game and such a great group of people. I actually started rewatching their among us videos recently, as well as playing the game and I was just thinking how it's just a matter of time before among us is back. Fingers crossed!

It's definitely 'not' just a few, and it would be plenty more if they weren't old videos. I understand they don't want to do it anymore, for whatever reason, but it would definitely still rake massive numbers of views if they did it properly.
if you like among us vids then i recommend watching Alpharads content, idk if he posts the vids on his main channel but he does stream among us (almost) every monday and posts it to his vod channel

Morning Lobby is king. There are some good lobbies that mess around, there's Stellar Roles lobby that's pretty good, 5up's vanilla lobbies are starting to get good, but Morning Lobby is still the best.
I still feel the same excitement whenever toast uploads an Among Us video. lol And I get more excited when I see the ole gang playing together.

I literally haven't gotten to see any of these streamers play since they stopped playing Among Us with Toast.
I realize that Among Us is now "passe" but it was kinda a special time just because all these personalities together can only really happen in a game like this. I mean, they don't even play FPS games with each other or League or something... It was Among Us and then nothing else really.
(Okay they did a short stint of Valorant, but you know what I'm saying. Nothing else has stuck or been consistent like Among Us or OfflineTV. And seriously Sykkuno hasn't been around ever!)
The sad thing is that sykk and toast are too good at the game that they couldn't have fun playing it seriously :(
Honestly when you're too good it just means you gotta change the group. Cuz ofc you know all your friends fakes and lies and gimmicks. Only natural thing would be to expand with people you havent interacted with before. People say Sidemen play it, they could play with them
@@FinestFantasyVI they tried playing with a lot of people, but people are scared to matchup seriously with them. They had poki, sykk, toast lobby with new peeps and they couldn't take it seriously bcs the other half was so easily overwhelmed by the roles or gets too intimidated to talk
@@nikko8606 Yeah seems hard to find someone who would take the time to respect the game. My suggestion would be Linkara even tho he's a comic book reviewer, he has Among Us livestreams every once in a while. Hell his last Among Us stream was 2 weeks ago.

And in my book its kinda a bad idea to mock an audience because they are your livelyhood possibly. I do feel bad kinda for toast as he seems to enjoy the game, but others not so much

@@Derren82 Pretty much, Im not a twitchie and never went there, so prior to the Among Us era, I never heard of Valkyrae, Corpse, Pokimaine, Lily and many more. I think I only knew MoistCritical and Dream (And I saw this game from Pewdiepie). Hell never even heard of Skyunno prior to it and I didnt know Toast much too(I mixed him with CinnamonToastKen). Still the group was super fun and I was engaged in their banter ad thus became a viewer. Its just a shame they kinda well.... not stopped... we all gotta move on, but its more of a shame they diss what made them more popular in a more broad spectrum of internet.

I’m an art student in university, and I can confirm any art kid who taught themselves to draw cursed crew mates during the peak of Among Us will still draw them on whiteboards and wherever they get the chance.
I recently drove a group of my friends to an art museum for an assignment on a rainy day, and two weeks later, when it rained again and my windows fogged up once more, I found the twerking crew mate emote perfectly drawn in the condensation of my car door window. I have yet to wipe it off. I couldn’t destroy such beauty just yet.
