Thanks! I spent a lot of time finding the right tones. I'm using a Line6 Helix. Crunch tone was a Fullerton Bright amp through an IR. The slide tone was a Derailed Ingrid through a 1x12 US Deluxe. Solo tone was Solo Lead through a 4x12 Cali V30. I tried a few different tools to make the slide guitar playable without damaging the frets. The only thing that worked well was raising the action so high on the LP that I had to intonate the saddles as far back as they'd go. Kinda worked. As far as effects go, the biggest game-changer is Waves CLA-Guitars. It really adds a lot of depth to your sound.
I love this song. I discovered it thanks to GTA San Andreas. It's the first song I've ever listened on my mp3 player, great memories. Stunning cover as always, the piano part was unexpected but very appreciated :)
