- Guitar legend Albert Lee performing an incredible show-stopping version of 'Country Boy' with the equally incredible Elio Pace live on 'Weekend Wogan' BBC Radio 2 on Sunday, March 28th 2010. I heard this live on the radio as it was happening and having seen Albert (with Elio in the band) many times in the past, I would have given anything to have been there in person at the Radio Theatre to witness this. One of the most amazing live music events the BBC has ever seen. Thank you BBC for getting it on film and for bringing Albert Lee to the masses.

Wogan's socks were well and truly blown off.
I was in the audience and it deserved the standing ovation it received. Fantastic!
Individually, Elio Pace and Albert Lee are both brilliant. Together they WEAR ME OUT!
Wow!! Those of us who are familiar with Albert's work will not be surprised at the brilliance of this. One of the greatest guitar players ever.
I think this is a case of Albert Lee unleashed on an unsuspecting audiance, most had no idea they were going to be "blown away" by the greatest guitarist the world has ever known, I just love the reaction at the end.
I remember listening to this live while I was driving and you just knew it was a special moment when you heard it. So so good
Wow!
I had the pleasure to chat with Albert Lee in the 80s when I ran into Don Everly coming out of an elevator after his performance with his brother Phil at an Atlantic City hotel. Don invited me to join the band for drinks. Albert was sweet and charming. I had such a crush on Don! He was so good looking!
Albert is my hero, but I absolutely love Elio as well.
Seeing the two of them playing with Hogan's Heroes was fantastic, with Albert tearing it up and Elio at one point laying underneath his keyboards and stretching his arms up to play.
Hilarious, enormously entertaining and talent almost beyond belief.
Thoroughly nice guys as well, with plenty of time for the fans.
It's not just the reaction at the end that's so cool -- it's the reactions all the way through, eg. the bass player at 3:26 and Wogan himself right then too... golden moment thanks for the upload.
Good to see Albert and Elio together again.
Albert ,THE BEST,Great band Elio Love it !!!!!!!!!!!!
country music at its best.
Love it ( 10 times) Hurray for Albert !!!
Damn the pianist is monstrous
Amazing!!! What more is there to say!
Albert still got it
Wowww!!!!!! Guitar genius!
Amazing Piano Playing Elio
Absolutely fantastic, never get tired of listening
Great British Guitar player.
holy shit !!!
Alberts not lost one note over the years ,he's faster and better than he ever was in his younger days., totally incredible . almost all notes besides slides alternate picked as clean as a razor with insane speed and technique. He leaves rock players that hide behind distortion for dust.
