    Aron's the man. Such a cool dude, true legend.
    Hopefully we will see him in the mix for podiums at the second half of the season.

    Interesting how he phrases it. It's almost like he's an employee and not just a rider, if he hasn't bought in to be part owner. Wonder how that all shakes out. And Gwin is a legend for putting up budget for privateer level racers in order to give them a real program. Respect.

      @thingswelike Před 2 měsíci

      I think it's very simple. He's got 1/3 ownership of Crestline in return for the publicity he can provide. When he says he didn't buy in, it means he didn't pay cash.

    • @TeddyParker
      @TeddyParker Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@thingswelikeI guess the question is. Well of course the thing is we want the numbers but we're probably not going to get that. So he didn't buy in. They're not paying him as a contracted rider. But he is earning company profits as an owner. I'm assuming it's not super lucrative for Aaron and more of a future consideration.

      @@TeddyParkerI would imagine Crestline is paying sponsorship fees to Gwin Racing for being the frame sponsor of his team. That would be on top of the company stocks.

    When a legendary racer is involved/sponsored and supporting a brand, they should have bonus money 💰 for co-branding, plus for podiums and world championships. These guys are superstars in the sport and deserve more recognition and respect for the value they represent.

      Nice sentiment but where's that money coming from ?

    • @hardmtnbiker

      @@knott4me561 not sure, I’m sure that profit margins are pretty low. Especially since the demand is low.

    Great interview, many lessons learned, apart from bicycle themes, how many sacrifices needed, devotion and time spent to be on top,like Aaron Gwin and not only talent as many assume..These athletes are 1/1000 in numbers and they stand from the rest by their clear vision as to where they want to end..All we can say is respect: without such examples the word "Evolution" wound not exist..thank you all for such an interview...😊

    Fantastic interview. I think the most impressive thing about Aaron is how many career ending things have happened to him, but he just has the faith to know everything will work out in the end.... and it always works out in the end :)

    Great interview as always. I’ve noticed every time you interview him it sounds like he’s widdling wood or cutting an apple in my headphones. Had to come to the video feed to figure out it’s his microphone rubbing against his collar!
    Anyway, great content as always. Keep up the great work and tell Aaron to get some Bluetooth headphones put the cords outside his shirt. 😂

      Wet my shorts when it got to that part. You see him saying he can do whatever he wants while wearing that Red Bull hat and talking about his Red Bull meeting where they said gives us your wildest ideas.... And yeah. It's basically a shoe-in to add to the HL series. American Hardline babyyy!!!
