- In our last E30 update, you saw us rip out the old suspension and start the install of the Silvers Coilovers. As you know we ran into a few issues. Today we wrap up the coilover install and drop our E30 to the ground as well as measuring for new wheels!

16 or 17inch
215/40 on the 16inch Wheels or 215/35 on the 17inch
Back in the days every E30 owner here in Germany have driven this Setup.

15's or 16's are ideal for E30's. 15's if you want beefy fitment with a lot of tire. 16's if you want more focus on the wheel. 17's always look huge on these cars. 16x9 et15 is perfect with a 215/40, will probably still need a small spacer up front. More offset will just mean you need more spacer up front.

Jesus... You could have done it all in a day. If you're seriously going to do build this way it will take years... Next video is going to be finding the perfect torque to screw wheels on a car.
We are doing this slow just due to the fact that we have so many other videos that we make. We will make sure though that the next episode will have the finished mod done from start to finish so there is more of an episode feeling to the video. Sorry again hope you stay tuned for next time!

I was static that low, drove around just fine in mine lol. Better get a Red46 skid plate, 5 offset in rear I rubbed, so fenders gotta be rolled. most likely front also.

why did you weld the new coils, I've seen e30 coilovers that use the existing mounts? what's different with this install, more low?

We actually do not do any work on cars at our shop unless its a full build!

Damn thats a pretty weak wheel setup for a e30, anything above 16" on that beauty should be illegal !
16x9" et 15 is a more optimal setup, you can fit a 9,5" in the rear with a similar ofset.
KosovarMods 16s look small AF unless u wanna run 60 sidewall, which no one wants to do
195/40's with 9 and 9.5J looks on point slammed
KosovarMods so running above 16s should be illegal but slamming shouldn't? Personally, I'd rather run 17s with nice tuck and fitment so I wouldn't have to slam it

I might be wrong but they're gonna be running 17s because that's the smallest you can get from Cosmis's lineup.

You bought the wrong E30 to stance. Everyone knows early diving board bumper’d E30s are best to stance bc of the more even arches. The late models will leave you with a meeeean rake.... ewwww
I'm about to unsubscribe before they make that beautiful E30 into a crap pile. If I'm not notified maybe I won't see the finished product (if it's ever finished). You guys need to get on one of the E30-specific forums and learn what works. You could have avoided the oopsie you just went through. And start stocking up on oil pans. Trust me.
