    Great review. This bus is very successful in America. Next how about the local one called MCI or Prevost.

      Thanks! Great to hear! We've talked with Prevost, and we hope to get an invite to the plant in the future :)

    Fin reportage. Da jeg kørte i USA, var det i Eagle 05, men det er længe siden. Amerikanerne er meget konservative hvad busdesign/indretning angår. Se blot den lave ståhøjde i midtergangen eller monitorerne over sæderne. Vore europæiske busser er mere sofistikeret og tak for det!

      Spennende at du har kjørt buss i USA! Det virker spennende!

    We have many of these in our company. They have stiff suspension.

      Hmm! Maybe a choice by customer?

      @@bussmagasinet1 No I don't think its by choice. Compared to MCI's and Prevost's, Van Hool C models have a stiffer suspension system. I'm not sure about the T models. But its like this everywhere in the U.S.

      Hmm, I’ve found new CX models to be quite smooth and quiet. The C and old CX models are stiffer and louder than other competitors of the same era though. I feel like Van Hool focused on improving the CX model after they realized the higher end T model wasn’t doing as well

    I don't think you ever reviewed the Van Hool ExquiCity bi-artic (24m) that was tested in Bergen? I see the Gotenburg 24m video, but not the Van Hool? I'd like to see that review one day.

    • @bussmagasinet1
      @bussmagasinet1  Před 2 lety +1

      The Bergen once are too late. We tried to test them, but we weren’t allowed. We still have those in Trondheim, but also there we're having problems with permission. Sweden is a much easier country to go to for us, unfortunately

      @@bussmagasinet1 Ouch. But maybe you'll have some luck in the future in Malmö. They have tonnes of those buses running on both Natural gas as well as electric versions. So hopefully something can be done there. If not there's still Tide Bus up in Aalborg starting operations next year with some Solaris Urbino 24 meter buses for Denmark's first BRT line, the "Aalborg Plusbus". Either way whichever bus you'll review next, I'll be glad to see it.

      We would love to test Finish buses! We want to come and try some old Scala and Lahti buses and coaches. If you have any advice, let us know 😊

      @@bussmagasinet1 I think the fact that the channel is all norwegian might be a turnoff for some. I mean I'm a pretty regular viewer now but I was sceptical at first with it being an international channel. Thank god for the english subtitles. I hope that maybe focusing a little more on an English speaking market going forward may help you out, as your channel is the only one that I know that does like solid coverage of buses in mainland europe. We have some for the UK, and some for the US but both places often have wildly different standards for buses to that of mainland Europe and particularly Scandinavia. But heck maybe if you can arrange a shoutout with some english speaking content creators in the same field it could help, with emphasis on videos in english or with english subtitles.
