- Hey guys! A lot of you guys like my first friendship bracelets video and were asking for a tutorial on some more advanced patterns, so here ya go! I know that these are pretty complex, but practice really does make perfect! Hope yall have lots of fun friendship bracelet making :))

I don’t like the pictures that show how to make the patterns. They’re so confusing. I liked this video, but I like the first one more because the way you explained it was easier for me to understand.

i just started making these bracelets because my husband is in basic training and i needed something to help pass time and ive watched part one also and im already addicted to making these lol, you should definitely make a series!!

sorry this is great but i need more verbal instruction like the first one, just from the diagrams its confusing haha. i rlly dont get how to follow it its just easier for me if u say which knots and then when ur done, when to switch etc, fully once if thats cool

They're not double back knots, or double forward knot. Just normal backward and forward knots. Every knot is essentially a double *insert type of knot* knot, if that makes sense.
But you always have to do the knot twice

How long should i cut the strings in the beginning?

The only thing that I don’t understand about patterns is where do you start and move on
just read it like a book, start from the top left and make your way to the bottom right. do one row at the time and work from left to right, once you finish that row, go on the next one :) hope this helped!

I know how to read the patterns but I never know how long to make the string. What length do you recommend? Sometimes they turn out too short but I don't waste string either and make it too long

how long would all the embroidery thread should be if I want choker necklace? I made two but with a cardboard wheel (kinda like the kumihimo wheel) but I wanna try making choker with multiple strings like 8 or more

I’m making the second one and I only make the knots with the same string of the color. Because of that, that string gets really short and the other one just stays the same length. What am I doong wrong? I don’t have enought string now and I have to throw away what I made. Do you maybe have any tips what you can do when you don’t have enough string?

ive been doing large alpha bracelets to the point theyre too large to wear on a wrist without looking odd!
however the interesting thing is i came to this video again after a year to remind myself how to make simple bracelets that are to be worn. its refreshing tbh and im planning to make more fashionable bracelets instead of large, difficult patterns.
