    Thanks, Mohit and Nitin sir for this. I m confused between UMBC and the University of Delaware.
    Can u share your opinion as to which one is better?
    I have admits in both, for MS Data Science.

      @mohitpatil1430 Před 2 lety +1

      I don’t have much info about the DS program at University of Delaware. But for UMBC DS program, I can surely say that it is pretty much industry oriented as most of the professors here work in industry alongside academics. Also, I know a few DS folks who are pursuing an RA in the DS department.

      @@mohitpatil1430 ohh okay so UMBC is good fit for me right ?
      And yes UMBC has MPS degree for Data Science. As MPS is job oriented, will that create a false image in counselor's mind that I'll stay in USA?

    • @mohitpatil1430
      @mohitpatil1430 Před 2 lety +1

      @@krek6567I don’t think there would be any issues as far as the visa is concerned. You could very well explain that that you like the industry-oriented curriculum the university is offering and it would really help you in your career after you come back to your home country.
      Let me know if you have any other concerns!😀

      Thanks a lot Mohit for your time and consideration.
      Btw I have 4 admits
      1. UMBC
      2. Northeastern University -Silicon Valley
      3. University of Houston Main Campus
      4. University of Delaware
      Based on my research and interacting with others, they want me to go for UMBC.
      What's your take?

    • @mohitpatil1430
      @mohitpatil1430 Před 2 lety

      @@krek6567 I would suggest UMBC as well given it’s relatively higher brand value and the ample number of opportunities that come along with it.
