- A fun build we worked on earlier this year for USTE. We take a look at the build and hopefully inspire some of you to build one of your own!

By far one of the coolest rc builds I’ve ever seen! Incredibly clean, everything’s seamless / thoroughly thought out.
Thanks. Just took one problem at a time. And went through 5-10 revisions for fitment and functionality on most of them lol. The front bumper, as simple as it is, was like 12 revisions to get it to sit in just the right spot and allow the cab to tilt behind it.
I want one
Absolutely fantastic! One of the things you should add is a windshield visor out of polished aluminum.
Thx it does need more detail work like the triple wipers as well.
Absolutely beautiful rig bud. Love it. The 1/14 scale rigs always bugged me that they weren't 1/10.
You and me both!
This reminds me of my first truck I hauled boats so we would stretch a standard frame to 30 feet then lay a deck on the frame and move the 5th wheel to the rear down low behind the tractor called a stinger . then build the trailer 45 foot long including the 5th wheel all open frame for an overall length of 75 feet . You did a really nice job on this one sir.
Thx. Dang that sounds pretty dope!
@@crawlersncustoms Thanks man that was in the 80's you could put a 20 foot boat on the truck and a 45 foot sailboat on the trailer when you hung the mast off the side it would stick out past the rear almost 15 feet sometimes .makes for interesting turns in town.
Line lock!?!?! That’s cool man!!
Dude this is seriously awesome and it looks so good too. I'd love to build one.
Thanks man. Go for it!
I really admire details. You got a lot going on. Outstanding!!!
Thx! Still some more details to iron out 🤛🏼
Very impressed with your work sir keep them coming ...
Dustin's a cool dude and produces some really COOL stuff!
Epg scale over here beautifully built
Thank you 🤛🏼
Wow rad cab over my dude , outstanding
Thanks. I hope to get the trailer done later in the year and use it as a prop on a scale drift track at some point.
This build is beyond amazing. I love cab overs semis and this one is top notch.
Thanks! Can’t wait to do more work to it.
Awesome COE! I'm sure this video doesn't do it justice 👍 Digging the driver too, hope he doesn't take it off an overpass 😂
Lol me too.
Well done, it really has the feel of a cabover, I drove a Freightliner and Volvo for a while when I was a driver, one thing I would do is add air bags under the rear of the cab so it helps with the weight, they would go between the cab and frame, again great job, I think I need to build one
Thx. It’s actually something I want to do. If you notice in the video there’s a guide bracket on the back of the cab. It will get replaced with a more scale part with small tpu bags for suspension.
Would love to see this turned into a drift build
Actually, I’ve been toying with the idea of making a very adjustable WB chassis for the mst so I can do a 450 drift build.
Badass truck you built there Mr bailey.
Thank you sir 🤛🏼
This is badass!!
Thank you sir!
Absolutely awesome!!! I love the truck and the title!! I just subscribed to your channel.
Thanks man! Can’t wait to show more this year!
@crawlersncustoms I can't wait to see. I was tossing the idea around of building a Tamiya Scania, but this just blows them out of the water.
Nice build
I'm glad you like it
Incredible build!
A grill guard/cow pusher!
Your Truck is FANTASTIC build very detailed very nice mine is a bit shorter only 11x12x26 or so long she's heffty though close to 11lbs still work in progress
Cool. I need to weigh it. It’s definitely not light 😂
Love this truck! I've used similar aluminum stock for frames on a couple of 1/6 scale custom crawlers I built. I totally agree with you about the 1/14 semis, they just don't fit in with my 1/10 crawlers and cars! What transmission was that? I mistakenly gave 1/10 Rod shop credit for the entire build in my video last week, I'm glad you made this video. I think there's a market for this size of RC semi, even though my budget won't allow for it!
Thanks man. It’s this tranny:

Nice job man! I need one!
Thank you. I needed one too. Might be time for another or more this year 😳🤦
@@crawlersncustoms sign me up for one!
AWESOME TRUCK !!!
Well. I would buy. And a whole bunch of otherz wood also. That’s perfection there Thank You.
Thanks man 🤛🏼
Nice build I’m working on a 1/10 scale cab over and a snowman truck from Smokey and bandit
One of my favorite movies of all time.
Won’t be the last. And also won’t be he only one in FL. Looking to build a Isuzu cab over roll back on the 450 chassis with a super scale air ride setup Just like the baller hauler
And I thought my grand H. Was cool. Very nice love that you went tenth scale
Thanks 👍. 1/10 is easier to divide by when making parts too lol
Awesome Vid, James!!
Thanks Tony
B E A utiful. Stretched, color, rims, dual stack. great work
Thanks man. It does take a bit to turn around because of the length but small price to pay 🤛🏼🤘🏼
@@crawlersncustoms it's supposed to, it's a semi. I owned a couple of them. One was a 362 Pete from 84
What axles did you get?? Love the truck!
Very well done. I want one.. I'm in the middle of putting a Toyan FS-L200 in my CEN F450 but I think once I'm done I'll gonna get into building something like this.
I like those little engines. I have yet to play with one but it is on my list 🤘🏼
Check out Dennis Dempsey on youtube, he knows more than most people about the Toyan engines.
My question is do you build for the general public first time watching your channel great work...
Thx. I will likely come across as selfish but everything I build is because I wanted it and couldn’t find it in the market. Sometimes I sell them like the “Evil 6x6x6” was recently sold and the Ultimate Hauler with the functioning roll back kit is currently for sale. Other times things make it into production like the wheels on this cab over can be found on our website. Https://crawlersncustoms.com/
Thoughts of producing a few kits?? I would be interested in purchasing one! Awesome work! Thanks for sharing
Yes! Thanks for checking in. That’s one of my goals this year. Hopefully I can make a handful in 2024 and offer them for sale as plug n play models.
It's actually the second I custom Built my own cab over a year ago it's a one off frame up build I've some changes as of 2 days ago and she's pretty pretty awsome
Send a link where I can see some photos 🤛🏼🤘🏼
@@crawlersncustoms just look me up michael dorch
Badass
I believe RCP57's iron elephant is a 1/10 and is completely costume machined by him quite a few years ago now. Wesmade did that Peterbilt cab for RC Everyday but don't know if he ever finished that build.
I’ll have to ask Josh what’s up with that build. I think I remember seeing it but you’re right I don’t think it was finished.
I remember that build. I don't know if he finished it, but I think the cab was 1/14.
I personally like it's 1:10.
Same. I won’t even consider any 1/14 semi because it won’t look right with my 1/10 collection.
Thats bad ass 👍 did u ever build a tailier for it 🤔 thanks for sharing 👍
Thx. Yea we did! It’s a step down trailer but I haven’t done a YT video on it yet. You can see some shots and videos on our IG. That trailer as a gooseneck is also available for DL in our Stl section of the website. Thx
So sick. Saw it in person and it is next level
I’ll tell you what, the King of RC would know 🤛🏼🤘🏼. Thx bud.
I need to build a 1/10 scale kenworth t800 tri-axle with a Texas bed and winch setup, lol I don’t want to I NEED too
Do it! 🤛🏼
Amazing craftsmanship to be sure. Beautiful execution ! As an uninitiated may I ask what axles are those ?
Thx! Just plain cen racing axles that come on the F450 series trucks.
@@crawlersncustoms Thank you, sir and again, just amazing craftsmanship !
Robert Patrick approved RC Rig AKA T1000 🤔
Nice 👍👍👍
Thanks. It’s a fun truck.
damn someone beat me to it ,cool ride . 362 with 352 head lights but it works . i agree with you what's the point of having a 1/14 th scale when most everything is 1/10th just doesn't work very well. and i like the cabovers more also i'd like to get my hands on one
Thanks! Happy new year.
First off, Awesome Job !
What axles did you use?
Custom build or bought?
I've recently started to custom build trailers and axles are a pain to make.
Thx! Those are CEN axles I had laying around. Could have used any through really.
Man I have a quick question, what 5th wheel set up do you use. I want to turn the Redcat COE into a semi, the fifth wheel is kinda important . Please and thanks you!
Cross RC.
Can you please post a link as to where you had the cab built?
It’s 110 Rod Shop but he does not take orders. This was a personal favor. SLS printing, assembly sanding and painting and polishing one of these hard bodies is incredibly time consuming and expensive. I wouldn’t even want to guess what it would cost to cover the time and materials involved.
Is there somewhere I can find the files to print the parts for the rig? I’ve been working on a race hauler for my 1/10 scale drag cars and haven’t been able to find any 1/10 scale semi parts.
Yea that’s why we built this one. Nothing existed. With the success of our gooseneck trailer digital files we’ll be looking into adding more content to that area of the site. It will give people a path to build their own using the same parts we designed. Look for more and maybe the semi in the future.
Where can I find some chassis stls ? Love to do a k100
That’s something we have on our to do list! Thx
How much of a difference is it between your 1/10 and the 1/14. I would love to built one but I don’t have all the 3rd printing and stuff like you
Huge. We put an entire 1/14 semi and trailer on the trailer that goes with this rig with room to spare. Or another way to say it the 1/14 is about 40% smaller. It is possible to build one without using a printer but there will be challenges for sure. Look for a few of these to be built and sold through 2024. We are thinking of building 3-5 units with trailers next year to sell.
@@crawlersncustoms yeah because you did a lot of your suspension work and stuff with the printer so that would be the hard part for real. Such an awesome built, I looked at 1:10 rod shop build and I’m in love with it. You guys did awesome
@@PimpDaddyWalk420thanks! Yea they were fun builds. Some of the parts are shared between the two rigs. We were up against the deadline for uste and used some teamwork. 110 did the paint work for me and I designed the trailing link and airbag system out back which he utilized on his rig as well. The front of the two trucks are completely unique since his used a different cab and an undriven front axle with a different transmission. I was really set on using my “burn out” transmission set up.
@@crawlersncustoms yeah that’s understandable but with the time you had you both did great. I like your front end set up more with the dual shocks because you can see 110 front wheels are cambered in but I guess considering the difference that would make since
I am in the middle of building an off road stretched frame long nose Pete 1/10 scale came across this video and was like whoa another one exists mine is about 4’ long has 4 fusion motors triaxle rear and is all wheel steer .. I real like this cab over it looks great .. check out my build over on my channel and KEEP ON TINY TRUCKING
Dang 4 feet long?! That sounds wild. I’ll check it out.
😜So when’s the preorder? When do they start shipping?
5th Thursday in February 👀🤫😂
@@crawlersncustoms 😂🤣😂🤣
Take my money Please
@@crawlersncustoms Excellent. I’ve put it on my calendar.
I want to build the same things what i need??? Please thanks
Start with 3 axles and make the rest of the parts yourself is the only way.
where can i get one off the pass through axles?
It’s a stock cen axle. But there are pass through options from other manufacturers as well.
What manufacturer makes the cen axle pass through option if you don't mind me asking?
@@frankiemabry1726 none. It’s a stock axle with two stock pinion carriers and long bolts.
How wide is the frame rails from outside to outside?
95mm
Thanks for the info I currently own a 359 peterbilt and I wanted to make a rc of what I want my real truck to look like but I want to make a cabover as well yours is awesome love the work you put into it I just wish I knew how to do 3d printing
@@johndeere1958ful to have success you’d likely need to start smaller in lots of regards. Without hundreds or maybe thousands of hours of design/modeling/printing experience this would be a pretty big challenge for most. If you’ve built rc models before and designed parts then it’s not too bad if you take on the project in smaller bites. Good luck 🤛🏼🤘🏼
What is your cash price to buy this rig ??
5,500 with the matching trailer plus shipping. Thx
Would you sell it or do a build for someone??
I’ve been talking about that for 2024. I was thinking of building maybe 3-5 trucks over the next year to offer for sale. Stay tuned 🤛🏼
So kind of false advertising saying it's the only 1/10 scale COE. They been around since the early 90s I would say.... mostly all custom built. Most bodies were custom built or molded if lexan. And pretty much all were set up for pulling. So technically this isn't anything new. But not bashing at all. This is a pretty cool build.
* with line lock 😂🤘🏼
@@crawlersncustomsand point of that is what?
@@Rocketman442-RC fun.
Please tell me your gonna be selling all the parts and everything you've made in order for others to build these?!?!?!?!I've all loved the cabovers my GPA was a trucker ND had his own company up until 9/11 when the market fell out but he always only personally drove cabovers and a few other guys would only as well..just something totally different bout riding in a short nosed!!!
Nice! Hopefully something like this sees production, but unfortunately that's beyond what I can do myself. For now this will remain a 1 of 1 COE.
Umm ok..
How did you build the cab?
SLS printed, glued together, then body work and paint.
