TTC GM T6H-5307N New Look Bus Ride (Part 1)

- On Saturday, September 21st, 2019, both Greenwood Yard and Leslie Barns was opened to the public. During the event, shuttle buses were provided, taking people from yard to yard. One of the buses was TTC 1982 GM T6H-5307N New Look 2252, which was restored in October of 2018. Much of the bodywork is complete, the bus isrepainted, and is equipped with a Luminator Spectrum destination sign.
This video features bus rides of this Fishbowl bus. This video also features TTC 2018 New Flyer XE40 3700 which was also a shuttle bus on that day. Lastly the video also features Woodstock Transit 1976 GM T6H-4523N 14.

I went on this same exact bus on the shuttle to the TTC Open House at Hillcrest today
Buses just seem to get smaller and smaller after this.
Don't miss not having A/C, but the wind in your hair with all windows open was also kinda nice
Facts.
I'm only 6 feet tall and everytime I sit at the back of the Nova's I have to duck when I get up, it's annoying.
@@WeatherxCalipha Hmmm.. I meant in terms of capacity but that's a good point too. 6ft is pretty tall btw.
@@wl03bu Capacity as well, definitely, perhaps it's just an optical illusion but the older buses feel wider inside, and they seem to have much more standing room. The average height for a Canadian male has risen to 5"10, I'm sure they'd have to duck as well.

Why would they update the destination sign?
So they can put on custom signs instead of a rollsign

Is TTC doing what NYC, MTA is doing when it comes to the use of their GM Fishbowls?, would be awesome if they have that type of Vintage Bus Service program in place.
