I have to say that Dega vs Alcorn was my fav college battle of this year’s mardi gras. My 3 fav high schools for mardi gras this year was St. Aug, W. Craver and Craigmont. These high schools would smoke grambling😂😂😂

I have to disagree with you KB. That 2nd round should have gone to Talladega instead of a tie because Alcorn sounded like hot garbage on that 2nd song. The arrangement was okay but the execution was horrible. The only true winner without a doubt is the GG's. I give the W to Talladega. The only thing Alcorn has going right now is the GG's.

How, uapb sounded like a highschool, they didnt sound better nor was their song selection better. They made so many mistakes in the battle as-well. So i really want to understand how some of yall think uapb won.

@@lgpugh35 Dega doesnt sound like a highschool, the stuff that is played by the mellophone and eupho sections cant be matched by an highschool section same as the tuba section, range and power are on another level from highschool, although some sections are lacking in sound and cleanliness at dega uapb every section was sloppy other than maybe trombones
