Deejaykay I found this group yesterday and i'm becoming a big fan of this group.
I remember that "Hunger" was the first metal song I've ever heard in my life. I was 12 years old then. And that's when my journey with heavy metal started. To this day, I remember every liryc line word-by-word, and Amaranthe still have a very special place in my heart and my mind.
The sound this band is offering to the genre is pretty different from what I've heard so far. They are mixing nice pedal work, with awesome guitars and solos and very catchy voice melodies and choruses. I listen to a wide variety of metal on a daily basis, and this band really amazes me. Can't stop listening to them, even when I'm at work lol

You know why I like this?? Because it dares to be different! The metal community are in general a bunch of elitists and critics, so any band that does this type of stuff I appreciate because it pisses the flock off because its not "Brutal" or "Heavy" enough. Diversity is what leads to growth and progression.
I listen to everything and appreciate alot of different styles and expressions. That is what makes music so important to human evolution, it can change who you are at a very deep level.

I have never heard of such nonsensical travesty as I listen to nearly anything and everything that don't sound so hallowly shitty like todays rap, country and rock does now as they all sound identically the same which by gods spare me from my ears bleeding for mercy lol All in all forever gonna follow the artists I love over this sadly comment I did not mean to ramble on.

Why do people on hate on these sort of bands, If you like a song, whether because it's catchy or the riff. It shouldn't matter about what Genre It is, music should give you goosebumps, they're clearly doing something right.

i love the fusion from,electro,metalcore ,Speed and Powermetal.I hate growl metal songs,but this is fucking awesome,they find a balance between hard edged growling (understand the lyrics) and a very powerful fermale voice.Its very catchy

It's POP metal meets POWER metal meets I guess BLACK metal with the growling and it somehow WORKS.
It's not their fault all their songs are so damn catchy and that they are successful at coming up with good sounds and hooks - that doesn't magically make it mainstream. The average, non metal fan prob. won't enjoy this but I love it.

Isto é apenas a minha opinião e acredito ter direito de expressa-la....banda interessante,eu nao conhecia ainda este grupo e achei curioso como fazem o metal e o pop andarem de mãos dadas em suas canções,geralmente ha tanta discussão besta sobre quem é o melhor estilo e tal,mas Amaranthe não parece ter essa dificuldade em harmonizar ambos em uma coisa só,agradando tanto aqueles que gostam de rock como aqueles que apreciam pop ou ambos,como o meu caso,gostei muito e acabaram de ganhar mais um fan,adorei simplesmente amei o estilo deles.
