The first time I saw Alli Mauzey was in "Cry-Baby," in which she was fabulous. As others have commented below, the show deserved a better fate: it had a great cast and was very entertaining.

I am the girl who had to learn to belt really high to sing this song- Got cast earlier this year, and thanks to screwloose I've got vibrato, and got a better mix, and I've started learning how to growl (I don't even know how I sang before, it taught me so much). Still can't do it this well, but thank you Alli Mauzey for making me better-

When I first heard this song I was like 'Why did you have to flip it up the ocatve? I could've had a perfect song!' Then I pushed myself up to Mezzo and now I can sing it perfectly, I think this is how I discovered I'm a natural belter.

I thought this song would be impossible to belt until I just let go of any restraints (I tried when no one was around) and just went for it. I'm not saying it sounded good, but I hit the notes. I also thought that I could never, as I am also a natural soprano, but you just have to let go of everything and go for it :D

If you're obsessed with her, you should have seen Ali as Marian the Librarian in our high school production of Music Man! She was beautiful and funny and impossible to compete with. Ali has always had star power. 😄
