This was possibly my husband's most favourite recording of all the music he loved. He passed away 13 months ago and today 19 January would have been his birthday. I've been playing it over and over and it's bringing back such wonderful memories of my husband and him singing it at home to me (!) and on karaoke. Such a fabulous performance from Joe, isn't it great that he wasn't schooled in dance moves, it's natural, real and enthusiastic. My husband's wedding suit back in 1975 was the same cut and colour but with a pinstripe, and he had the same colouring as Joe. RIP Mel and Joe and thanks for the memories. X

I did a Charity Gig with Joe and his band in Fethard in Tipperary it was handy for me as I lived in Clonmel just 18 mins drive and Joe was so nice to work with and boy could he sing sadly missed by his Family Friends and fans R.I.P. Joe Dolan there is no show like a Joe Show.
I can hear Sir Tom Jones singing this, I met Joe Dolan at an Irish Festival in London years ago and he of course sang this I was always surprised that he comes from my dads county West Meath in Ireland.
