Frightening! I suffer a lot with sinusitis, but I go to the doctor when it starts to make me feel sick and so far so good. Poor young boy, poor Mum and Dad! And babies here with tongue tie it is done straight after birth

I was operated on for tounge tie as a child but for some reason they decided to do it with me being awake... It was horrible & they had to stop the surgery before it was finished... it was here in Sweden where I live... I will never forget it!

I had a tongue tie when I was a baby. I had the exact same op done. Even though they cut the skin that was attached I still can't stick my tongue out that far and it tends to stick downwards. My Aunt also had the same thing.

it is not a pretty feeling when the docs take out the intubation tube cause it goes all the way down to your lungs to keep u breatheing & it feels worse when your awake
i had the intubation tube when awake before & i hated it & unfortunately i kept vomiting & that did not feel good at all especially when it was coming out
luckily it did help me with my breatheing

I had chronic sinus infections for 17 years (usually just very tiring, only a couple times when I was younger did it almost turn very bad.) and finally in the last year I discovered I had a pretty severe allergy that was resulting in repeated infections, and now with some strong daily antihistamines I've gone my longest ever stretch without getting sick. But it terrifies me that I was always at risk for meningitis and at the point I was in I couldn't even get antibiotics because I was sick so often I would have basically never come off them.
