Brilliant helmet, looks great and has nice ventilation.
Very good helmet for the money, i'm loving mine. Very good aerodynamics, ventilation and fitment, could be a little more quiet. I always wear earplugs so I'm not bothered with a bit of wind noise. I'm sure you will like it.

This helmet is extremely quit but if your use to air plugs of course any helmet is loud
@@caelan6084 For the price yes, 97-98 DB, which is the same as the AGV K6S, Shoei RF1400, Shoei GT Air 2 and 3, etc, which are higher priced, almost double.
But the quietest helmet is the Shark Race R Pro series, which cost the same as the above premium helmets, and the GP version costs a min of $1000.
I've run a HJC RPHA 11 for awhile and recently bought a Scorpion EXO-R1 (Quartararo 2021 model). SUPER impressed with the EXO R1 for half the price of my RPHA 11. Outstanding helmet for the money

Got the more budget version (Scorpion Exo-1400 Air Carbon) but just love my scorpion helmet!
If you don’t mind riding a helmet not compliant with DOT, the ECE only version is significantly lighter.
I have a TRANSITION VISOR on my Shoei RF 1200. I highly recommend it, it gets the sun out of my eyes during the day and at night it's completely clear! It was an extra $200 but I'm glad I spent the money!!!
First off if people complain about weight of scorpion helmets. The gym is calling.
I LOVE THE AIR PUMP SYSTEM. THAT BY FAR IS DOPE AF. AND A 5 year warranty wtf. I don’t like the carbon but I love Scorpion Helmets and won’t ever change Arai was my other go too but after my EXO520 I’m sold.
Honestly once you try an Arai and it fits your head shape nothing will ever feel as premium as that, especialy the smooth visor system.

I have similar set up. Scorpion helmet, chin mount and GoPro. I live in Palm Springs, 110F at summer time… My GoPro 9 fell off twice right during the rides, because summer heat softens the tape and the chin mount doesn’t hold properly on the helmet. I just glued it on with superglue after that😅

Have you heard of a photochromatic visor? The visor changes darkness of shade based on the sun. It's pricey but well worth it! I rock it on the daily.

When I was first looking for a helmet after getting my Ninja 400 4 months ago Scorpion was one of the brands I was looking at.
While I ended up going with LS2 for a good budget/starter helmet, it's still my favorite or a close second favorite for Helmet Brands.
Imo China does well with the helmet game, both Scorpion and LS2 are my favorites.
Had 2 exo r1s, returned them cuz of wind noise, lil too loud for me

I heard very bad reviews about Scorpio’s. I’m gonna get the RPHA 11 in full carbon instead. I have a DC graphic version of the helmet so I trust it.

If you want actual quality for daily driving nd stuff instead of race more = less. You couldve gone for the scorpion exo 1400 carbon, which is very similar to this helmet but has all the features

@imkay i vlog with Pista GPRR. I use Jabra Elite 75T . It serves as noise protection as well as plays music. You can’t use the cardo/sena in the pista tho…

I would rather spend the idk extra 100 or 200 on a better brand. I have a ruroc 3.0 and it’s pretty trash, just the marketing that makes it look good. That’s just my opinion though!

Do you recommend cardo for music? I have a Lexin and while it’s great for a communicator the speakers are so bad for music! Zero bass and it’s so high pitched it hurts your ears

Funny how you said that it’s heavy. The agv pista rr you have is 1600 grams while this helmet is 1200🫠
This one is 1485 while my pista is 1350. I have a scale so ill test both out to confirm but the pista def feels lighter and especially at high speeds
