I didn't get a good look at your tractor, but I could tell that it's either a 3 or 4 series John Deere Compact Tractor, and to see that little Deere push that trailer load of pigs up that hill, in the snow, from a dead stop, was nothing short of impressive, and would make a heck of a good John Deere Commercial! I sure do wish you would take my suggestion about hanging some tether balls for your pigs to play with seriously, I'm telling you it will stop most of the tail biting, as well as other behavioral problems. Receiving a group of pigs over a 3 week period is challenging. What is your receiving program? Do you have a vaccination program? PRRS,Circo,Microplasm? Where do you get the Baracuda starter feed from?

Same here, grew up in Coles County and left for Texas 35 years ago. Never looked back.

Just got my hogs sent to market today. Just shy of 19,000. Can't wait for new pigs and for summer so curtains can be open and heaters shut off.
