If you are looking for a beautiful small township to explore in Croatia, I highly recommend coming to Omiš. I was just blown away by the beauty this small town has.
From the Cetina river to the Old town and of course the wonderful clear blue beaches. It left me surprised as to why I hadn’t heard of this place any sooner. Omiš is bursting with beautiful mountains and beaches to explore and after just one day here I want to come back again as soon as possible.
Although we didn’t have time, one of the must-do things in Omis is to walk up the 13th century Mirabella fortress. This fortress was used by the pirates who used to retreat into it for their safety of the Cetina gorge. And apparently, they used to call out and fire shots to the attackers confusing them causing their enemies to flee. It takes about 30 minutes to walk right to the top, and you have to climb the ladder inside of the tower to get the best views as I am still yet to see.

The 'sauce' with čevapi is called ajvar and you can buy it in every store. The best ones are homemade which croatians all make but you can try and buy Podravka ajvar if you buying it.

Yes it sure is. I think in total we will be here for 2 months and a half, and we only have 2 weeks left 😅. Yeah it’s got definite pirates of the Caribbean vibes 😄. I know I don’t want to leave haha. Trying to see all these places before I go.

Bit late sorry, but went there back in August and loved the place to bits, so many little nooks and crannies to look at and explore, the Setina was amazing, you captured it perfectly

I'm planning to go there! Do you know if there are any public transportations that connect the city with the beaches nearby? (Like buses or taxis?)
Been here it's beautiful, we went Kyacking down the Cetina river. However eating i can't see how eating a meal of dead animal flesh gives you pleasure.
