    Cant compare apples to oranges unless all machines same size / horse power the test can't be done and have fair results its like trying to compare a front wheel drive car to a 4x4 in mud or snow . Now if they were all 1000 cc be lil dif results am sure :)

    Well all I can say is while can am, polaris, actic cat, and all the others may not be all bad, my 2007 700 grizzly with a tad over 15,000 miles on it and never a broke down day on it, has sure towed home a LOT of other brand atvs lol.

    As far as snowmobiles go it would be ski doo then Polaris then Arctic cat then Yamaha. For atvs and side by sides I would say it goes Polaris then can am then Yamaha then Arctic cat. Although personally I would rather ride can am because they look meaner and I'm a big ski doo fan.

  • @tayjadster
    @tayjadster Před 9 lety +1

    LOL.....gotta love all the comments about tires. Anyone who has owned Outlaw tires knows that they suck in sand. A lot of fun to show off a 10 foot high roost....but dig holes like nobody's business. I had a buddy that could climb a sand hill in 2 wheel drive with stock tires better than I could climb in 4. Let's face it - power = momentum = winner! Put another 1000 with the same setup and I'm sure the results would be similar.

    I know what you mean by thinking they can't get much more power, but you have to consider that people have made motorcycles turn out over 250 b.h.p. and aren't they essentially the same motors that we could start putting on quads? Just saying, there's a story about one of my buddies, buddies (kentucky fried mouse kinda thing) that took a 350 Edelbrock and put it on a custom made banshee stylized frame. Nobodies ever rode it, but still he did it.

    You know Canam has the 1000R motor in the Maverick still right? Theyre just waiting for Polaris to introduce something bigger. Because as soon as they do the new Outlander and Renegades will go from 82 HP to about 100. Then it will be just like it always is. The Canam will be the fastest in it's class once again.

    • @tyedevonhannah
      @tyedevonhannah Před 10 lety +3

      Visco lock crap? My 13 outlander spins one front tire for a fraction of a second before the other kicks in then it's fully locked up. The older visco lock spun the front tire about half a rotation before the other kicked in so not as good. But visco lock isn't crap. You can turn in 4wd and it feels like 2wd it's awesome. Maybe one day you'll make a smart choice and buy one, and will never ever go back ;) lol
