Good take on it. I thought perhaps it was the older girl recognizing the signs of abuse and helping the younger girl/doll. And then the true horrors of what happened to the younger one become apparent.
Those are both some really good tags. I'm usually pretty good at noticing some themes and underlying tones but it's really hard for me to pick up on that stuff on this channel.

i think this is a metaphor of wanting to protect the inner child in yourself that was traumatized and betrayed by your own family, and by the blood im guessing it’s about being SA’d or maybe groomed and when they tried to go their family for help they either didn’t believe them or chose to do nothing about it. i wanna hear other theories though….
this channel has really heavy themes of sa and thats kind of how i percieve this too. The way the mother figure is portrayed i find it pretty likely that they are/were an abuser too

I love the character development here. Our protagonist just stood up for herself for the first time. She's starting to grow. I hope she gets some closure with whatever is happening by the end of her story (if there is an end).
The thing that i love about this channel is that its psychological horror meaning it rarely uses stereotypical unsettling stuff like blood or jumpscares and screams

This sure was worth the wait -A lot of animation -Expressions that are a lot more detailed than before -Dialogue and backstory(maybe?) -And a bunch of references There was Half-Life and Dragon Ball but also a lot more covers that are also references I think but I can't exactly tell to what so maybe they are not but I think one was Deus-Ex and there was a sims in there was also that painting of Ivan the Terrible and his son when she held the doll(probably more). Overall improvement to basically everything with added spice on top and I love it!

This series has themes reminiscent of my own childhood. And a situation im currently in. Ive been struggling alot but it makes my heart feel a bit lighter knowing that someone understands and that its possible to portray that pain so accurately and even make others understand.

I agree. I think it's so artistically valuable, but prone to being sexualized and ogled by audiences- even in such a traumatic context, sadly. Nudity is something we're born with, and there are so many other things it can represent. Of course, sexualization is a key theme here, but not on its own, and not in a way the audience should join in on. This isn't pornographic: it's a representation of CSA.

Probably my favorite current animation channel on youtube. I love the super dark themes but with something deeper to it so its not dark and disturbing for the hell of it. The animation style is also beautiful.

I think this is a dream sequence and the kid is the same person as the mc. That's why there's a mask. I think its an expression of how the mc feels their mother failed to protect them from abuse and potentially directly endangered them.

I think this is a dream sequence and the kid is the same person as the mc. That's why there's a mask. I think its an expression of how the mc feels their mother failed to protect them from abuse and potentially directly endangered them.
