Hollywood is a city on Florida's east coast, between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Palm-dotted Hollywood Beach is backed by the long Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. ArtsPark at Young Circle features an outdoor amphitheater and a striking fountain. Nearby, the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood offers contemporary exhibitions and performances. The Anne Kolb Nature Center is a reserve with mangrove trails and an aquarium.

i am thinking seriously on moving to Hollywood from Kissimmee and I would love to get as much info on communities that is safe, friendly etc.. for single woman and her Pomchi dog.
I prefer Hallandale Beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities and a good nightlife.
Grew up on Jefferson when younger. Used to be so much better...and safer then.
The best thing about Hollywood is the beach. There's a nice boardwalk and you have Margarittaville. The downtown is just a mess with construction going on all over. Too much overbuilding. I moved to Hollywood in 1975 and let me tell you it was a far nicer and safer place to live back then. Parking at the beach in 1990 was a dollar an hour. Today it's five dollars a. hour in some places. Hollywood has also been known to have lots of corruption.
It was all fun until I got a ticket for riding my skateboard on strand/broadwalk...
Make sure you read all signs and laws.. cops won't give warning, they luv giving out citations.
The locals corrected me when I went there… it’s a broadwalk.

I used to live there on Jefferson Street (7 blocks from the beach or so). Definitely different now. Was much better when I was young. Hollywood Blvd west of Young's Circle has been ruined.
I have to say....I could not watch this video because of the man's strange voice tone. Oh well.
Just spent 10 days in hollywood at the Diplomat. The Dip was great but Hollywood beaches are not cleaner then miami! Over flowing garbage cans and undesirable actors on the boardwalk. Hollywood is a typical city beach area.

Hollywood beach is a amazing beach definitely one of a kind in Florida definitely a better spring Break spot than Daytona Beach, and next Hollywood Beach is Hallandale Beach, beach another beautiful beach been there two amazing restaurants and hotels.🫡
