Covid made me really appreciate my home state. We didn't bother with any of that shit after like the first couple weeks. We waited to make sure people weren't dropping dead left and right and then went on like normal. Couldn't imagine not being in a free state during covid.

Rogen is spot on, my wife and I live in Florida, and we never shut down doing that time. I worked the entire time and would go out on the weekends with my wife to restaurants and etc... I said all that to say that Texas is a lot like Florida we live it up no matter what.
If I had to pick, it would be Florida all day. Beautiful weather, hot ass Latina mamas, great coastline and just an all around GTA wildness
That's BS, I live if FL also, Tamarac. There was a shutdown, just not as long as other states. There were a good 3 months where the only things open were essential businesses. I am glad that it wasn't as restricted as other states, and we were able to make the decisions for ourselves as to how to protect ourselves, rather than government curfews and mandates, but to say FL never shut down is disingenuous. Maybe that was your experience, but that wasn't a state wide experience.
