Wow but Laval is a sports university. Great football teams and now a basketball championship. Congratulations Laval! Well done.

Why did Queen's play 22 games and Laval only 16 ?

Because of the number of teams in each league

Literally. 6-10 in your conference but somehow you can play for the Natty? USports needs to fix it lol.

A team that went 6-10 in the regular season should not be in this tournament.

True, I think it's because of the home team being allowed in because of the location

They were the hosts, and why should it matter, they were 6-10 should’ve just been able to eliminate them come the 1st game but the #1 in the country sucked

How can a team with a 6-10 record still win against three teams that are considered the "BEST" in their conference? Perhaps it indicates that performance in high-pressure situations matters more than overall season records. Laval's championship win serves as a testament to their ability to excel under pressure, demonstrating that they truly deserve their title.

Exactly, USports needs to relook at its format. Just because you're the host doesn't mean you earned that spot. Expand to 16.

It shows the regular season is pointless. Why not just invite random teams to compete in the championship then? At least in the CHL, they pick good teams to host the Memorial Cup. USports should just do a "February" Madness style event where all university basketball team's are given a spot based on a month or two of play. This current format is atrocious.@@Micomicooo-eo5ee
