At first i thought that it was playback but coming towards the end i realised that it is not. The only explanation for this is that they played so good live that it sounded like playback. Although at some parts it might have been playback right after the chorus, because i could hear it over leaping where in they're usual live performances of this song it doesn't. And they have performed songs in playback before but only because the TV shows kind of make them do it. In case they screw up (which i don't think they would, even if it did - it happens to everyone). Non the less these guys are great performing live and Lauri is a great singer. He always has been. And this band is really cute :p
Voice of Lauri is still so great. And I just wanna to see his hands approaching to his face when he sings "for pleasure", just like in their incredible video 🥰 I wonder if he did it somewhere on concert cause he really kills me with this 😁
sometimes when i listen to them i feel like something´s missing.the first song i heard from them with in the shadows.the following years were very meaningfull to me.it was a very good time and allways i hear one of their songs i remember me. also i have to say that they were one of the few bands where you can say that they are live even better than on cd. in this video first i wasn´t sure if it´s realy live or playback.but it IS live.there are little differences in the voice i need new stuff!!!!

Even though it sounds different from the album,it doesn`t mean that they couldn`t have recorded it a separate time....if it`s playback I think that TR didn`t choose it themselves,some shows just don`t allow live music for some reason....
it seems to me, that some parts are indeed live (vocals, hihats) and others are not. OR, lauri recorded these vocals beforehand with the same mic. but atleast drums seem to be live and vocal harmonies. or something like that.
In my opinion this isnt a playback. There are vocals missing in the chorus from the album version and the guitar layers are missing. There are some sampled instruments running in the back but they are more likely playing to a click with some instruments on tape. Cuts down on having loads of musicians on stage. Having seen Rasmus live on what I consider a bad day for them this is definitely live and done very well.

I bet... I once was a rasmus fan but when I saw them preform in 05, live, I totally lost my respect for them. The drummer didn't keep the retyhm and the singer... well you could figure out that yourself. Still I enjoy listening to "in the shadow"... One of my big favorite songs in my life
