You left out the one flower to repel bugs in your garden and that’s the Marigold , it has been proven over and over again . Just plant one on the ends of your garden , should only take about four to do it .

Honestly, where I live, it is so bad that when I planted sage, things got better.

Planting sage in your own garden is supposed to bring bad luck and/or spirits.
You should have someone else plant sage that they bought (not you) in your garden to avoid the bad luck. Just return the favor.
