Canva lets you import PDFs! Doesn't always work super well, but definitely useful if you haven't tried it yet. Amazing video as always. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much. This was very helpful. I was trying to figure out how to design better covers for my low content books on KDP. Well, a better way of designing them. And the dimensions of them too. Plus love the eyedropper tool. One of my best extension I had to agree whenever it comes to picking colours for any of my digital printables and digital projects.

Hi Sarah, thanks for sharing. Using creative fabrica it’s a huge help and time saving. I didn’t know how they have pre-made composition notebooks. Can you show us, how do you market your books?
Isn't Creative Fabrica awesome?? And yes, I'll definitely create some more marketing videos in the future! For the most part, I market organically by choosing low-competition keywords, but I'll work on creating more videos within that area soon. :)
Canva has its own color dropper tool, so using the chrome extension isn't necessary. When you go to change the color, you can see the little eyedropper icon at the bottom right corner of the color selection window. It's visible in your video at 11:50.
That being said, the chrome extension would be really helpful if you're trying to use a color from something outside of canva. I didn't know such a tool existed! Will definitely be checking that out. Thanks for sharing that!
The fact that I never noticed that. 😩 I swear, every time I think I know the ins and outs of Canva, there’s still something new I can learn. 😂 Thanks for pointing that out!! And the Chrome extension is superrrr helpful, especially when using Pinterest color palettes. :)

What's your suggestion for advertising? In order to get low content book sales? Is Pinterest a good place to advertise low content books
Advertising is something I still need to dig into beyond just organic reach, but Pinterest is an excellent option for that! With its large shoppable search engine specifically gear toward images, it's a great choice. :)

Hi Sarah, thank you for this video, as I was also trying to figure out how to add pages to PDF file. I think up to 150 pages is good enough for kids, because when adding pages, the royalty also decreases. But KDP sets it up this way.

Hey please i am confused about something i hope you will see this.
When we find a keyword like this for example "easy word search for kids ages 6-12" which word of that king keyword would we enter in the seven boxes exactly? İs it (easy wordsearch) or (kids ages 6-12) or..?
If it's one long-tail keyword, you can enter the whole thing! :) Long-tail keywords are awesome because they're longer, less competitive, and much more specific to the book you're trying to sell.
Hi, is there actually any point in pushing old books on KDP with ads to bring them to the front to get first sales and reviews? Thanks.
I'll be honest; I don't have a ton of ads experience, so I can't give you any really specific advice there. However, speaking generally in terms of ads, I have heard that it's not always the best option for brand-new creations or ones that aren't selling. It tends to be better for those that are already making sales, as ads help keep those sales more consistent. But again, I'm no expert, so definitely do your own research as well. :) Hope that helps! ✨

How can we resolve this fonts not embedded issue on kdp?
I use canva to design my files. What can be done?
It's nothing to worry about. I've also experienced this, but it would tell you in the warning that KDP already embedded the fonts.
Is there a way to make these notebooks with upgraded paper quality? I love comp books but usually the paper quality is terrible. thanks
Same paper quality across the board, unfortunately! However, having personally purchased multiple of my books and used them, I actually love the paper quality. My sister's been using one of my composition books out at college with no complaints. :) I'd just recommend that you always choose black-and-white interior with white paper, and you should be good!

Look at the categories I use in the video. :) I recommend going with something related to the design of your book as well as something related to writing and journaling! Ultimately, there's no best category, so do some experimenting!

hello sarah please all my covers are blurry when i upload then on amazon but the look fine and sharp when i export them as pdf from Canva
Are you exporting them as pdf for print?
How do they look in the print previewer? I find that sometimes the listing images can look a little blurry but are actually still high-quality. If your books look fine in the print previewer, then you don’t have to worry! I’ll admit that I was a bit concerned as well when I first started, but they print beautifully. :)

Interesting, that might have to do with the bleed settings you're choosing!
Hey was it actually bleed? Why I felt like it was not bleed as it has lines beyond the borders?
I think it's bleed, yes? I believe the extra lines outside are the ones you have to be careful about not getting chopped off, but I could be remembering incorrectly!

you could also use faststone software to resize patterns to the size of 8.5x11 or even half of this size instead of resizing it manually it would save you a lot of time

Personally, yes, you shouldn't have any issues with doing this! I find that KDP still accepts my books even if the title doesn't match exactly, but you don't have to do it this way if you'd prefer to play it completely safe. :)
What if I don't want to sell it?
Then you may want to try a platform other than KDP. :) Or just create it, buy it yourself, and let it live on Amazon! Besides, if you purchase it yourself, you’ll actually be helping your book’s rankings a considerable amount.

@@buttercupsingh6817 Watch the video. :) KDP embeds them for you automatically, so just check that it looks good! Beyond that, you don’t need to worry.

Yes, you can. There is a possibility that your book will get rejected, however, and will require you to go back and edit it. Personally, I have never, not once, had an issue with using a slightly different title than what appears on the cover as long as I used text in general on the cover somewhere. It just comes down to how safe you want to play it!
