9 TOP 3D Printed Organizers for Your Kitchen

- In this video, I'm going to show you around my kitchen, and share with you how I used 3D printing and a handful of 3d printed organizer systems to go from messy to organized. Brought to you by Sovol, check out the all-new Sovol SV08 at jle.vi/sv08 - it's only $499 for the first 800 buyers!
So, as you can probably relate to, this isn't the first time I've tried to get organized. But generally, whenever my wife or I "organize" a cabinet, especially one that everyone in the family uses, it usually takes about a week to become messy again.
So, as we go about this 3d printing challenge I'm going to try to apply these principles wherever I can:
First, a place for everything, and everything should only fit in it's place.
Second, accessibility and ergonomics over maximizing storage.
And finally, I'm going to placing a priority on efficiency, both in terms of print time, and in terms of material used. I'll specifically look for 3d printed organizer systems and 3d printing ideas that do less with more... which is NOT the case with most of my 3d printing challenges... ha!
I hope you get some great 3d printing ideas from this video, and that it helps you get a little order in your life!

Bedroom organization and things?
@@zrizzy6958 Thanks!
Glad you like my water bottle rack design! Love the fact that you printed it stacked on the v0, thats awesome.
Thanks for sharing the thing I most love in 3d printing:
Pratical and useful 3d prints of everyday
Greetings from Brazil!
Having help around the house can be a necessity, depending on what your work/life looks like. I know what it's like quite well.
Most times when people get someone to do things like cook or clean, it isn't out of an aversion or the luxury of it, it's because they work so much that there isn't enough time in the day to do it yourself, and you can't "split yourself into 4 pieces"-(that's an Acadian saying, directly translated to English) 😉
BTW, you put out awesome content that's entertaining, and incredibly practical and informative. You've saved a lot of people time and money by sharing your experiences with the world.
Thanks, and, 🙏🏻 I pray that the "government's of the region", can reach an understanding, and achieve peace.🙏🏻
Always satisfying to se something go from chaos to order. I added gridfinity to the bathroom bombshell cabinet, and my wife totally loves it. And the best part is that it stays in order.
Don't have the pleasure of a house keeper, we have to do it old school and do it ourselves lol. Some great prints there though I must admit.
I absolutely love your kitchen and cabinet design and now that you added your organizing pieces to it makes it 🤌🏼 you did a fantastic job. Idk if anyone will EVER be able to FIX the Tupperware conundrum besides throwing them all away lol but I can’t i am addicted and love them too much so I just live with the disaster. Unfortunately, for me my cupboards are older and very narrow in depth and my drawers are even worse. So until we do a huge home renovation I am going to implement these organizing projects you have shown. Thank you so much for your time and another great video.
I’m only 9 minutes in, and I 100% love the camera angles and shots. This feels truly next level. It’s a video I sit down and expect to watch the entire thing so I don’t miss a shot because of how well it’s done. Great job!
Great! I follow your videos a while. Last weekend I started printing the Gridfinity Kitchen system. I first doesn't recognized that it is your system, until I found this video today.
I have to say that I totally love this system. But what's really more important, is that my wife also loves it! And so it was another point for me and my hobby. 😂
Man, I give you credit living in Israel right now. Being American I'd half think you'd be bringing your family home and away from the war. Again, I give you credit. You're a much bigger man than I am.
Thank you! I need to get to printing the water bottle organization ASAP!
"Nobody stacks plates on top of those that look just like them" HAHAHAHALOLOLOLOLOL... I wish.
is it me, or is the mic weird in this one? battery dying? or mic dying? or is it my headphones dying?
Definitely serious audio issues. It had me checking my headphones and speaker driver to make sure it wasn't me lol
Noticed this also. Considering his current circumstances it's fair to assume he may not have had all his equipment on hand.
Most def audio issue
I couldn't finish the end of the video bugged me to much near the end but it's a good videio
I love that style of videos I use 3d printing for mainly organization and I love to see other people's choices for models
I am looking forward to going through and watch more of your videos. I love to print functional everyday useful hacks and thats what makes 3D printing fun. I'm definitely going to look at the bottle rack and relook at making a 12oz can sorter for the fridge
Funny as I just gridfinitied our bathroom drawer. So satisfying. Will definitely watch the next parts.
Amazing! Gives me some ideas of what I can do to fix organizational issues in my kitchen
Another kumquat lover! Some great ideas in this video, thanks for making.
Great inspiring video, thanks! It inspired me to FINALLY organize our kitchen, which I wanted to do for years now... especially the cutlery drawer, spices and medicine I had no clue what to do with them, as off the shelf organizers never really fit :o)
Definitely printing the water bottle rack! And when the silverware drawer bin indentations line up... mu-WAHHHH!!! *Chef's kiss* È fantastico
Man you have more patience than me. I would never be able to do this!!
Haveint the same struggle with less storage space so excited to see what you come up with.
I'm working on something for our packet drawer (gravy, taco seasoning, koolaid, etc). Of course the drawer isn't deep enough to just turn the packets on their side and organize, so I'm working on one that's angled to keep each packet visible. With the storage containers, the glass ones stack on top of each other, but the lids are a pita, so I'm just going to make a spot that the big ones can fit sideways, and the small ones can stack on the top. Seasonings, we have too many, and so many different sizes, so I want to just mount the smaller ones on the walls in the cupboard and leave a spot in the back for the large ones. Other than that, we don't have issues with silverware or anything else.
Great tips looking forward to the update vid 🎉
where did you get a friend that sells you food for the week? i want that too
wow such a clean transformation, beautiful... yep usually 1-4 weeks and its back to chaos (all thought i wouldn't call it chaos... its just a organised system no one except for me understands)...😅
Hope your trip is going well mate ! thanks for still keeping us entertained ❤
While PLA is a fine material (and affordable), bacteria will form in the surface cracks of your various prints that are touching food and food containers. I dont have a recommendation, but its worth mentioning that some other plastics are anti-microbial (or heat resistant enough to survive in a dishwasher), and I wouldn't be surprised if there was something you could spray onto a PLA print that could help fill cracks and add antimicrobial properties to it...just don't ask me what, thats not my area of expertise.
Loved this video! I would like to see more ways to use 3D printing for organizing a home (especially a sewing/craft room.) Thanks for sharing!
Really good video I love me some practical 3d prints!
Yerba mate? this is the first non argentinian video in wich i hear this in english xDD Hugs from Argentina ;)
Great video i would like to see how you with your closet as i was just trying to get mine yesterday & well i mostly got is sorted, but it will no doubt in a short while end up back to where it was.
really found this one interesting. my biggest problem now, is i've only got one printer and I have a dozen projects to run off. feels like another excus....i mean, good reason for a second printer😉
More Great insight..
Seriously, This Channel- it’s Always interesting.. From Tech, tools, applications & industry knowledge to daily life..
Thanks Again,
Just Rad🤙🏻
I appreciate that!
I'm just thinking yesterday to use the gridfinity system to create stuff to organize my ustensils drawer... well I don't have to^^ Thank you :)
מעודד מאוד בהקשר רעיונות לסידור :)
תודה עבור השיתוף :)
(: THANK YOU FROM ISRAEL
Hey, thanks a lot, lots of great ideas. The sound editing is really weird on this one: delays, volume spikes and dips, cut-off end of sentences. I don't know what changed but it wasn't for the best this time.
It's funny you showed that tea bag holder because I just came across that model earlier 😂😂 I was in the model rabbit hole again.... but I did get some ideas for stuff, as well as a few things I'd like to print
TUPPERWARE!! I hate the mess and can never find the lid,,, HELP!
amazing amount of storage you have in your kitchen -- been battling with the issue of not enough cabinet space myself :/
fellow hot sauce lover. Hot sauce pairs very well with eggs too. These are some great organization ideas. I will likely end up printing the bottle organizer for our home.
Do you have a link for the egg dispenser you printed? I'd like to give that one a try.
thanks for the video, yes, I would like to see additional ones.
I was surprised you have Yerba Mate.. only south americans from Paraguay/Uruguay/Argentina know it. (I'm from Bolivia).
Another tip, keep stuff you only need.. I did not support this tip fron the carpenter that built our kitchen.. and I was surprised how good is this tip.
I'm curious to see how the Ikea spice jars are.. if they are humidity tight.. which I doubght.
Greetings from the Galilee.
I like your videos and you’re organization style🎉
I just need a 3D printer to do it on my own.
Wich one you recommend to start with?
Bambu P1S probably
@16:10: this drawer won't be a secret anymore if his kids also watch this video.
Woah woah woah, that kilo of filament for a few tchotchkies was a prerequisite for the design, its the first line in the description xD
Part deux please, for all us OCD makers out here trying to find bright ideas, please?
Hi, brand new to 3D printing. Which software are you using at about 3:46? Thanks
Keep an eye on any fruit you put in a confined space, some fruits produce a lot of ethylene gas that will cause other fruits around them to ripen or become over ripe.
The drawer organiser trays look good, is there a link to these?
Description
i am a hot sauce freak too! latest favorite one is called Akabanga chili oil, it's from rwanda. I was able to find it here in Montreal in an African shop.
The housekeeper needs sorting with how dirty that fridge and drawers were
The Hair!!!!!!! 🙏🏻🙌🙏🏻💥
I give it a week before the kids find the sweets... If you want to hide them, keep them in a draw with stuff you want the kids to find - like shorts or socks.
8:28 queue the Willem Dafoe looking up meme, also that would’ve been so funny from the side view. You just walk in and see this guy staring up at a tripod on top of a counter.
I was not ready for hairtie less Levi. 😂
More pls
I’d like to see how the real head of household likes this system, your wife. That’s the true test as we all know.
Can't wait for his partner or kids to come back with some new glassware he hasn't accounted for 😅
This literally happened a day after recording this ughhghghhgghhh
@@thenextlayer Just copped a shirt, don't tell them or they'll get another coffee you don't have a column for 😂😂
YESS finally someone who understands that not everyone can spend 1000kg of filament for a project :3
also omg your house is nice. I wish i could afford a nice place, but sadly living in vancouver means that I live in a basement with 3 other strangers and a noisy landlord upstairs :|
also those big square black labels on the printable page made me want to buy a bigger label printer that can print those style of labels 0_0... Must... resist...
and holy shit I NEED THAT FRIEND, I NEED THAT FRIEND. cooking food is a paint
He's from Israel
@@Dann.y yeah I know
Do video of prints for the car
Wait you do read all the comments?
Yeah
@@thenextlayer You have proved that your word is true.
Hello, I stack different plates on top of each other disregarding both color and shapes. I am a psychopath. Nice to meet you all!
Hotsauce, now you're speaking my language .... A few years ago I was ranked in the top 20 people in the world for eating ridiculously spicy stuff.
Seriously? Tell me more
@@thenextlayer yes really. I'm HotWheelz in the League of Fire .... 2021/2022 season I was ranked in the top 20 in the world and I hold a world record for eating the most "Rummy Bear Psychos" in a single sitting. Just be warned, no matter how much you like hot sauce, this is a whole different world of pain, suffering and endurance.
Yerba?
I guess you have way to many bottles :O in my family, everyone has exactly one bottle - 1L for the day 😅
Are you planning to add some form of organization system to your discord Server? Usually the discords i did it join get flooded with useless messages and the real important Content gets lost and it's not easly searchable....
I am not artistic, so my prints lean to the practical side. Thank you for some ideas (excuses) to use my 3D printers.
I need a solution to mug storage. We have a lot of mugs and we use a lot of mugs daily. I can’t figure out how to deal with them all 😂
We hang ours from hooks by their handles. We have a stand for the coffee machine, kettle and blender (for smoothies) that has a back panel with a bunch of hooks the mugs can hang from. Easy to grab and put up, and uses space that otherwise is wasted
You aren’t kidding about wasted space no being your problem. Try fitting all that into 1/4 the number of cabinets.
Oh no! What happened to da kittah?!
She disappeared
@@thenextlayer oh no 😥 cat 🐈 😞
You still have cat food for a non-existing cat? Get rid of it! Donate it to a shelter or give it to a friend.
Apart from that, thanks for the the ideas. I am currently pondering which way to organize my kitchen and some of your solutions will also fit perfectly for my case.
I like these kind of videos where you explain your way of reasoning and coming to a solution.
Dude you have to wear your hair down more often
Big Morley Kert energy
@ZevEisenberg I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought this!!
Let me see, sweets, kids, secret place. I'll give you some experience, they will find them.
I mean zero offence by it (that's my disclaimer): My OCD got triggered by this video 😂.
I love how honest you are, but come on, "I organized (this or that) in the kitchen"? Nah! You had to get written notarized approval from the wife to make any changes. 🤣🤣🤣
What I do with organization home is to go though our stuff in the common areas checking what we changed or no longer use, then I normally donate things. I do that every 3 months in the kitchen, every 6 months in the bathroom and garage. It works like a charm. Then, for our wardrobes, we take a day a year to separate clothes we no longer use to, again, donate. I also use a lot of 3D printed organizers, just because they can be customized to our needs.
First.?
Yep! Well done
For your children's sake, please move your medicine out of reach! Almost had a heart attack seeing your meds so accessible!😳
Maybe don't try to dictate someone elses life, if he is raising his kids correctly, then they will not mess with them.
You really have someone cooking your meals twice a week? Then you need sponsors from China for your filament? You print everything in a bamboo printer and talk about sovol? Sorry big mismatch in my head.
Ugh, now I gotta un-sub because of the man bun.
Jealous?
@@thenextlayer Yeah, I'm jealous. Jealous of looking like a woman.
