I’m a safety nazi and this was only mildly unsafe and the worst case scenario is that dude shooting chips a tooth or something from the recoil. That gun cannot possibly fire again due to it being a pump. I also believe they only had one shell. Never ever flag someone but this was done unintentionally. Now if this gun was an automatic or a double action revolver I would be livid.

I don't really care as long as the outside variables (Berm, dead space for caliber if it misses) are accounted for and everyone involved understands the risks though. Everything else is kosher but if you've experienced firearms in a combat setting your ass will pucker if even an unloaded, cleared and locked firearm sweeps you.

If it were me, I would've had a barrier for the bystanders and wouldn't have put my finger on the trigger so early. Everything else is kosher but if you've experienced firearms in a combat setting your ass will pucker if even an unloaded, cleared and locked firearm sweeps you.
