Happy Thanksgiving everyone! A quick message about buying French wire….I noticed some sellers do list the Beadsmith and Beadalon brand as bullion. I know I said to not buy it if it’s listed as bullion but as long as it’s those two brands, it’s okay. Have a wonderful day today! 🙂
I never knew about French wire Thank u 🌷🌸☺️

Thank you for demonstrating french wire! I have never used it. Always glad to learn something new.
Glad it was helpful! 😊
I bought the French wire from Beadalon a little while ago. I haven’t used it yet. Now I will!
Awesome! I think it’s a great alternative! 🙂 I wish there were enclosed wire guardians. In other words, without the open channel at the top. That would be my preference but I haven’t seen any on the market 🙂
Yes purr purr little kitty❤

What a lovely bracelet! 🤩 It reminds me of a couple of vintage mid-century crystal necklaces I found at thrift stores. I am definitely going to get these materials; make your bracelet and try my hand at some earrings. Thank you again! Have a wonderful weekend! PS: Please give your sweet kitties a hug for me! 🤗

Thank you Laura 😊
Beautiful! Thank you again for explaining the details of how to do these steps! Also thank you for sharing the supplies you use and all the tips! The more I watch the more I learn! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and your kitties!🙏❤️😺😺🎼🍂🍃
Thank you so much! Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving 😊
Awesome thank you Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving
Thank you! 🙂
This is stunning, Luisa, simple but elegant. When I was a kid my mother had a crystal necklace and she used to let me wear it when I played dress-up, this brings back memories.
Boo-boo is one contented kitty. See you soon, as always take care.
Thank you 😽
WOW...that French wire is amazing! I've never heard of it...but will definitely try it. This is a beautiful bracelet even though it's simple! Thank you Luisa for the educational video! You're so knowledgeable and creative.
Thank you so much! 😊
I got some of those beads from a bead box kit and I’ve saved for me ❤
Yes they are lovely no AB coating … 🌹❤️💋😊😊
Yes they are! I love AB finishes!
I agree that the French wire makes a much better finish. I have some but haven't used it because I didn't feel confident enough in my skills. I will definitely try it now. You are the best teacher and you chose such beautiful beads for this. AB coated clear crystal beads are my all time favorite ones and I love to wear them any time if the year. Hooray for sparkle 💖 I loved hearing your cat purring.
Thank you! Lol…I didn’t realize how loud the purring was until I was doing the video editing 😂
Beautiful bracelet ❤. I use French wire - it doesn’t always stay nice looking & separates. (I do love thé finished look using the French wire.) Thanks for all your lovely videos
Thank you! 😊 that’s good to know. I wish someone would come up with an enclosed wire guardian for beading wire. I’m not a big fan of the exposed channel at the top of the horse shoe shaped wire guardian. I know it’s necessary for threading materials such as silk or fireline, but it would be nice if there was an enclosed option for beading wire. 🙂
What a beautiful sparkling bracelet! Perfect for any time of year with any outfit. Love, love , love it. I also appreciate you showing alternatives for finishing jewelry. The French wire looks great. ❤
Thank you so much! 😊
Happy Thanksgiving! Beautiful bracelet with the Bead Show sparkles. I love Bead Shows but I always buy my way into trouble $$$$$
I know what you mean. The same thing happens to me 😊
😮❤❤❤😮
Good morning..
Louisa nice Xmas 🎄 gift..
Thank you for the introduction to the French wire...it does look clean and more finished..
I purchased the magic crimper..to avoid crimpis and covers.....yet to try..no crimp tubes..Amazon shopping sooon..
❤❤😮😮🎉❤
The magical crimping tool is awesome. Just make sure you use the correct size wire. I think those pliers come in two sizes 😊
lindooooo
Muchísimas gracias! 😊
Thanks for the informative video. I like using wire guards to protect the beading wire, but the ends feel a little rough to me. I am wondering if French wire would be a better option.
Wire guards are probably easier to use but, you’re right, they can feel rough…especially over time. I personally don’t like the open channel where you can see the beading wire. 🙂
STUNNING ❤
Your tutorial is easy but the results are all but..I LOVE the, your, gorgeous bracelet ❤❤
Thank-you 😊
Thanks so much 😊
❤
Thank you 😊
Hi Luisa 😊 Are those extender chains nice quality? I've held back from using them thinking they might tarnish quickly or that they're too weak. They are definitely a great option for sizing the strung bracelets .. and look really elegant the way you used a crystal on the end. 👍❤️ I recently reopened my Etsy shop and am trying to build up inventory using strung bracelet designs to save labor time, but the finishing is always a challenge. I find that Beadalon crimp "beads" look much nicer than the tubes and don't need crimp covers. I agree the french wire is beautiful! Very professional finish. Wire guardians are scratchy and I worry about metal quality. I've been using .24 width beading wire directly thru the clasp and crimping with the beads ... I crimp with the Xuron only one time .. the second fold-over is not necessary .. it looks very smooth and attractive. I think the thicker .24 in wire won't slip thru a sturdy well-closed jump ring (at least it hasn't happened to me). Also I use stainless steel jump rings since they're strong. What are your thoughts on these things? Thank you for another wonderful video!! ❤
Wow! So many great tips! I agree, if you use thicker beading wire, you don’t need wire guardians. There’s so much misinformation out there! You really don’t need to fold over crimp beads. You can just do the first crimp and not fold it over or simply just squash it. But a lot of it depends on the thickness of the beading wire and the size of the crimp bead or tube. It sounds like you’ve discovered the best method for yourself. That’s what I recommend…experiment and see what works the best. About the extender chains…I’ve had that box for quite a while and the chain hasn’t tarnished. But I do try and store them in a dry environment. Just like any other base metals…you have to be mindful of the environmental conditions. I usually send out instructions on how to care for jewelry pieces. I recommend wiping them with a clean dry cloth after each wear, and avoid getting lotion or perspiration on them. 🙂
Let BooBoo help.❤❤❤
He certainly does help. He’s my lap warmer! 😽
And studio companion! 🙂
Beautiful bracelet, Luisa!! Crystals of all kinds are my favorite! Always learning from you.....french wire, think I need to try this now! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
