- Welcome to the channel! In Day 2 of the Gen Con regional tournament, I managed to place 23rd out of over 250 players. While thankful to have reached this placing after practicing, I thought this event would've been my opportunity to earn an invite. I shall try again!

How nice Belp Deck Profile my guy
Still amazing list and amazing run! congrats on the top 32
Nice bro, these are almost exactly my ratios. The only thing that I replaced in your list was the death claw for a pandemonium flame, a single Devi for an Ogre and one Phasco for a Promo Labra
Pandemonium is interesting! but works when you need Rage Modes to remove in trash haha. I also like single Ogre
@@JodobbiTCG yeah! It’s saved me a bunch when I needed to get rid of a big lvl 6 body and just needed rage mode in trash. Cheap removal too! Also is really good this meta if hit in sec. Shine usually swing with the Marcus first, kill the unsuspended mon they didn’t swing with, also a lot of “when attacking, unsuspend” this meta
Good effort! Glad you enjoyed the event.
Nice belphemon list. I'm still figuring mine out. I've been experimenting with things like bt5 musyamon to sneak an extra check in before attacking with rage mode. I'm also trying jack raid as a way to reduce hand size at no cost, ensuring 6 or less the following turn.
I was initially playing sleep mode by deleting gizumon through Kurata effect, but found it really suboptimal without astamon inheritable. Do you typically hard-play astamon, and if so how do you ensure you're not giving too much memory?
I like Musyamon! Definitely not bad as an aggressive 1-of. When it comes to hard-playing Astamon, the Nidhoggs play a key role. I pass them the 4-6 memory and sometimes they overextend when Im anticipating an attack. At that point we can trash 1-3 Nidhoggs in hand (you hold onto them as long as you can) and potentially limit their next move/pass turn!
@@JodobbiTCG Gotcha. Yeah, after seeing your list I can really see the value of the nidhoggs in that situation. Definitely going to bump mine up to 3.
Do you have a link for the infographics? Cant seem to find it...
That Jesmon match was tough to watch. Everyone was rooting for you, and the deck just didn't want to cooperate.
Haha yes it was super tough taking in the loss to just bad RNG but it is what it is sometimes lol
Why no analog youth? I run it 4 times in my belphemon deck it is insane!
Haven't tried! Definitely want to build that version since I know it'll feel faster!!
Wouldn't maxing out the Gizumon: XT be optimal so they can always fill trash? Also, have you considered Mist Memory Boost?
It's not as needed, the worst is opening with multiple Gizmon that you can't use at the time! Mist Boost takes away the ability to control what I draw and trash, I prefer the secure play from Purple Memory Boost!
@@JodobbiTCG I find XT also useful for when Eyesmon decides it has Jamming (which is 9/10 times). I'm also afraid I won't see enough Gizu in trash when I need them. Maybe I'm just worse at shuffling?
Interesting take on the Mist versus Purple. I think you're probably right; but it's worth trying. Some games I actually don't fill trash fast enough.
Nice try Josh! You got next time dood!
Thank you friend!!
