What does he mean by closing the lever as you move down the fade? For example after making the #1 guideline, using the 1/2 guard to blend first guideline and second guideline (#1 closed), you close the lever from the 2 to 1st guideline? I just don’t understand “closing lever moving down.” Sorry if I’m making it more confusing than it should be.

After having long hair for the last 3 years. And now I shaved it. I will show this video to my barber and I hope he makes the same taper as in the video. Fringe itself I don't think it is a problem because I can create volume in my with a blow drier and some products. Though I really wanna have this hairstyle. I love its aesthetics and the vibe it gives. ❤️

@@lTopG I haven't gone to my barber yet to have the fade. But in terms of texture and volume in the front, I had that because I have naturally wavy hair in addition to some scrunching. It didn't turn out exactly like Sam's hair. But I have texture so it is a win. Still waiting for the fade tho 🔥

I told him to just trim the hair at the bottom, not the top. I'm happy because I only found out about this recently. In the past, they used to make the haircut round, and it looked ugly.
Update: I got the haircut but instead of doing a 0 fade on the sides I did a 1. It still turned out great
