Great sound quality on those recordings!!! Really enjoyed it!!
Awesome video, Jack. Nailed the hedgehog sound.
Cheers
That "Humble" amp was a gem!
The Hedgehog sounds best to my ears; really unique midrange. Lots of gain too if needed, but it's not harsh in any way. I can see why Ian Thornley rates it so highly.
I absolutely love suhr
Suhr Badgers are one of the few "EL" amps I like
The SL68 is my favorite!
This was great. Do one for Friedman, too!
Keep your eyes peeled, there might be one on the way!
The amp settings don't seem to be set all that bright, I bet it's just how it was mic'd.
I think the tiny sound is more of the flavor the player likes. The EQ was set very high endy
How about demoing these amps with some humbuckers.
You guys need to do an 'Introduction to Victory Amplifiers' video.
We don’t stock Victory Amps, so that’s not going to happen!
Badgers Rule!!! - 18 Watts of PURE TONE.🙂🙂🙂
No Bella clips?
Full Bella run through coming soon...
Only fender style guitars to review?
a lot of "modern" amps contain a treble content that comes across as piercing, imo, w out being in the band mix (boogie, too, etc.)
forrallofus plenty that’s strange, I’ve never had any issue with my mark V. I’d definitely say boogie needs time to figure out the controls, but once you do you’re good to go.
For me the PT 15 is missing...
Harry Bee when Suhr release it, we’ll be sure to review it!
Will say I think you should have eq'd some of those amps better. they can be made to sound way better when the knobs are in the right place. Then again tone is subjective
Why are you so scared of the GAIN we want to hear everything it's got...good or bad...turn on to kill mode and that's what I want to know...I don't want to hear distortion boxes I want an amp I don't need an overdrive with and will play Zakk Wylde or more...where is it...? What is it...?
Exactly what I'm wanting to know.....we need to know what it can
No Suhr products for me. Terrible customer service, and even Mr. John Suhr's ignored all my calls or emails. Sold all my 4 Suhr guitars and will never purchase Suhr products no more. Very disappointing.
Hey! Could i ask you what you are was asking customer service for? Ive been looking for a Suhr since a couple of month and will soon buy a standard plus, i think. But customer service is very important for me, and im not sure i will buy one if its that terrible. Care to give me your story? Cheers
@@nikolajnb3774 I have contacted suhr a couple of times and they have always responded quickly and been werry helpful. Can't say anything bad about there support.
Nikolaj Nilsson Hey, yeah so here is the experience I had and I’ll make it brief. Four months ago, pickups on one of my classic Suhrs were dead so I called Suhr and the guy name Tristan picked up the phone, explained the situation. First he was pretty nice but he was constantly lying from that point and on. He told me he will talk to his manager about the situation and call me back within an hour max, never got a call. Waited a week and called him back, left a messages to this lady and she sounded very very moody.. anyhow I also left voicemail, and on top of that I emailed him twice but no luck, no respond. Third week, his manage reached out to me and he said he’ll take care of the matters ASAP and will send out a shipping label next day but waited 2 full weeks with no response. Emailed him 3 times after that, no response. By this point, I didn’t really care about my dead pickups, I was just very frustrated and disappointed with their service. And finally left a voicemail at John Suhrs office and emailed him, never returned my emails or calls. Sorry for the long essay but right after this incident, I’ve sold all my Suhr guitars only because I didn’t want to support them anymore and don’t want any business with them. I don’t know why I had this experience, but it was very unfortunate experience. Hope this help.
@@HansJohansson Thanks for your input! Only for curiosity, was it a quality check issue or something not related to quality? I want to belive Suhr still put out flawless guitars, thats one of the reason i want one. Im tired of gibsons and fenders lottery QC
I have always received excellent customer service from Suhr and Tristan in particular. John is on The Gear Page often and very responsive.
I have no affliation with Suhr other than owning a privately purchased Suhr Bella that I absolutely love.
Here is one video that could put off any interest of Suhr amps, terrible sounding omg.
theyre so high and sound bad imo
...that British classic design.....you mean like MARSHALL! Then buy a damn Marshall! I'm done here.........
sounds terrible
