A million thanks for this video series, it's just priceless! Great way to prepare for the driving exam to exchange your foreign driving license to the local one in Germany. When you know how to drive, but you need to understand the nuances of the German rules and the exam.
I have passed my license conversion exam two months ago, largely thanks to your videos. Sound effects and those little things like a link to related video are excellent.
I completed my driving lessons, I am waiting for the practical test and I didn't know the answer to the question about tire pressure and turning fog lights on. I think I am screwed. There are a lot of things my instructor has not told me about. For example, I did not know there is no right before left rule if on the right there is a signboard for the traffic calming zone. Also, I was never told about the time duration written under 30kmph traffic sign. If I see a 30kmph sign, I automatically reduce the speed. I do not read anything under it. That means I could be driving at 30kmph speed on a 50 kmph road.
I think that's the most important stuff to teach for a transfer of a license. As an instructor you don't need to tell about 30 signs. You need to tell about the additional signs... If you have sign combinations like this in your exam area it is very important to see the streets. And ALL priority situations should be taught in the lessons. Also the traffic calm zone rule with NO right before left. I hope the instructor is doing some more stuff with you before exam 🙏 ❤️☮️

A bigger problem is the hill start. During my practice at Fahrschule, both cars (with manual and with automatic) have hill assist. And just jumping to the car without hill assist would be disaster. Luckily, some knowledges I have in advance...
Yeah that's right. 30 sign is for everyone because of the construction. Without construction it was 30 with additional sign 22-6h for years. My comment is how it was without construction, and this is wrong in that situation. Good job. Do you want to become a driving instructor in my team? 😀👋 ❤️☮️

I failed however last week my exam..it was not due any instant failure issue but piling up of multiple smaller mistakes...I completed 3 tasks perfectly and it says so in the report as well.. can you please guide what steps can I do to pass next time..these were the remarks These were the mistakes in detailed report.. 2x traffic observation when changing lanes (standard lane change) Inadequate traffic monitoring Speed adjustment when changing lanes (standard lane change) Insufficient speed adaptation to traffic conditions without timely correction Vehicle positioning when driving past (priority control without traffic signs (default)) Falling below the safety distance to the side from other road users, structural facilities and obstacles/objects Vehicle positioning when driving straight ahead Slightly falling short of the safety distance in front of other road users without prompt correction Speed adjustment when driving straight ahead Driving slowly outside of a built-up area without a valid reason Speed adjustment when driving straight ahead Exceeding the permitted maximum speed with timely correction

Your problems sound like the same problems my driving instructor always says I have. I don’t know what to do. I’ve failed once and I go again tomorrow. If I fail again (and I am not feeling great) I am going to be so ashamed and I’ll have to repeat the entire course again. 😢

Bcoz he was turning right, he was on his side not blocking the traffic coming from the right. the have their own way clear, so need not to stop.
