I won’t swear to it but I think Kelly still has feelings for Jace; Armani mentioned that she took Jace from her (I’m guessing that Kelly had a crush on Jace and was possibly trying to get the courage to ask him out but Armani swooped in and gets Jace before Kelly ever has a chance to do it.)
The interaction while they were talking on the field is somewhat awkward because Armani is quietly observing while Jace and Kelly talked excitedly about watching ‘Happy Gilmore’ first for the group’s movie night.

everytime armani and jace be talking, its this weird tension, but then kelly appears and his vibe changes. thats gon cause a big rift in kelly and armani relationship.
i feel like armani also tryna self sabotage because she secretly wants the relationship to end (or she don't wanna get hurt. "ill get you before you get me" kinda thing like at the beginning), but the two of them feel like they HAVE to be together. she gonna bring it up to kelly n get defensive or gonna walk in on something she dont wanna see.
also i love heaven voice actor LMAOO she sounds natural & her whole character is hilarious 😭😭
