Amazing work, you guys are absolutely the best. I want moreee!
3:21 - Would've been a cool easter egg to have Cogsworth and Lumiere (since Framestore also did Beauty and the Beast) in their static state between all the objects in Ariel's grotto.

What software they are using for?
All of them (there are many used on one shot - different tools for texturing, lighting, modelling, simulation etc), plus some of their own (Framestore has some bespoke tools for example for grooming hair).
Common 3D industry tools in VFX are Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Renderman.
“The first thing to know is that anyone looking for a career in visual effects will need to have some knowledge of our standard industry software (Maya or Nuke are best) and when they apply they submit their CV along with a demo reel that demonstrates that experience.”
That’s from Framestore’s own web page.
