My boys tend to come and just look and enjoy with me for a minute,my daughter is hands on digging in the dirt enjoying every minute of it. I know she’ll take care of them. And even if she didn’t I know my boys would because they know how much I enjoy them.

Such a nice plant! I just got a little one from Succulent Studios. Crazy they can end up looking like that! Very cool. 🤩

Well, J. - remember I told you about the little pothos I got from my mom in 1986. Not maybe the most exotic plant- but still churning out oxygen 34 years later!!! 🌿☀🌿

@@aGirlwithaGarden But this one of yours is quite regal and majestic! Not trying to top that. Just to underscore much of what is printed on the www is not gospel.
One example I have is nature related but not directly about plants.
Spiders! I have my art studio over a hundred feet back into a forest down the hill from my house. To get there I ride a 4 wheeler or walk. Its narrow- I keep the width of it trimmed about 8 feet. Come warm weather, spiders hang webs across it. I have to remove the webs with a spider stick! Better than getting a face full of spiders!
But only once or twice per Spring is all I have to remove them. Those clever spiders apprently actually notice my height and after knocking them aside just once or twice, the spider moves them up to about a foot above my height. Not genious level maybe but it was a thing I had not expected!!!
And pothos live only 3 to 5 its written, but mine are over 6 times that and thriving. Good info on the web- and handy- but not the final word!!! So if folks are curious- do your own research!

Jon Galt that’s so awesome that the spiders adapted🕷...lol I don’t really care for them.
You’re right...online info is very helpful but doing your own research is also important. Sometimes the web doesn’t have the answers either 😉

Ron D try doing a search on Facebook market place. I was searching for weeks when I happened upon it. Then 3 weeks later I was looking again and I found another type of large Jade plant that was huge and so mature but I didn’t ☹️. People are always selling their plants there and for a good deal sometimes 🌿

Wow it’s absolutely gorgeous! After listening to the beautiful story and history of this plant, the last thing I thought you were going to say was you are repotting it. I was like oh em gee why. 😱 Its been pasted down, lived and thrived in that beautiful pot and I’d be afraid to uproot all of that rooted love. I know we’ve learned and evolved with drainage holes, but old ways still work too. 🤷🏾‍♀️
Either way I know you’ll care for it, so I’m excited to see it transition into your space. 🌱💚

A Pot to Plant In the pot is cracked on its side and from the looks of it the soil it looks pretty spent and even though it’s been in that pot for so long and its grown into the beauty that it is now.. fresh soil and a new slightly larger pot should really benefit the plant. Without a hole for water to escape if it happens to get too much water there’s no place for it to go and the roots can rot and the plant will suffer. The water will pool at the bottom of the pot and the roots could potentially just be sitting in water. Without a pot that has a draining hole the watering has to be pretty precise and for me that would require some trial and error to figure out exactly how much it water it would need and I just don’t want to risk it😟.
I’m excited to see it transition into its new home too 😁💚 and can’t wait to show you!!!
