Stacyc 12 vs. SSR Sprinter 12 | Grom Bike Shootout!

A Stacyc is quite possibly the number-one thing on a kid's Christmas wish list, but there's a new player in town! The SSR Sprinter is another battery-powered electric stability bike with a throttle, and it costs $170 less at $479 compared to the $649 Stacyc. Is the Stacyc worth the extra money? We wanted to find out, so we got a little ripper to shred on both of them for us!

there is misinformation in this video. I have owned both for my daughter. Started with the SSR and had controller issues so they refunded our money. We then went with stacyc because a local shop was selling them at cost just to get rid of them. The SSR does have replaceable batteries that can be charged in or out of the bike. The SSR also will kill the motor when the brake is engaged, the Stacyc doesnt to this. The SSR is a brushless motor stacyc (at first) was not (my model is the brushed motor). The seat on the SSR is higher but just trim the seat post and youre fine. The foot pad/pegs on the SSR is wider than the Stacyc... good for riding, not so much trying to learn. My daughter kept hitting/running over her own ankles. Build quality on the Stacyc is that of a professional Mountain bike while the SSR is something from dicks sporting goods.
This video is definitely pushing the stacyc agenda... and the stacyc is a great bike.... we love ours. But for those who want something for their kids and cant pull the trigger on a stacyc.... the SSR isnt bad either for a budget.A lot of the same features (just designed differently) and some features that are even better. If you look on ebay theres even THE EXACT SAME BIKE AS THE SSR under a different name for under $200. (search electric balance bike).

Y'all should put the ssr 300 through the ringer, kind of curious to see if it holds up with you guys. Curious about it bc I'm debating that VS the klx300 for my girlfriend... maybe a 300 shootout?? 👀 🤔

I BOUGHT MY NEPHEW A STACYC WTH 3 BATTERY & I STAND BEHIND IT & HE LOVES IT. & MY DAM PHONE IS STUCK ON ALL CAPS & WONT CHANGE. HA HA HA. I WONDER IF STACYC IS MAKIN PHONES YET🤯 WICK ON ✊ SWAPMOTO
