You've had it for a few years - I'd love an update! (Money saved? Is the unit still working? Any noticeable damage to the AC? any decline in performance?) I'm not seeing this is subscription-based anymore... If it is still subscription based, it's HIGHLY deceptive, I'm not seeing anything about subscriptions on their website.

Oh wow. I've never seen anything like that before. I'm lucky not to need one lol but looks handy and helpful.
We are in Texas as well.We leave our air on 65-68 . Summer bills our high but my husband works outside😌 and I stay hot 😒 so we like it cold. The heater barely gets used unless it's going to drop below freezing .Our air guy says just spray your outside unit down to keep dirt and debris out and that will make a huge difference.
I bought mistbox a few years back it pretty much destroyed my a/c unit clogging up the vents with scale and causing it to overheat and work even harder . the system cannot hold up to high temps and the plastic becomes brittle and cracks . btw I had 2 filters connected to the hose as a precaution little good it did.

Hello there! so whats the update on the usage of the mistbox 2? all in all, is it worth it? have you found any more issues? and of the mold or growth issues you spoke about as a possibility?

I live in Houston and have been using the Mistbox.
I really like the IDEA of how this works and can save money but am begging the company for more visibility into the device data. The "app" is very limited and I have had a pretty good handful of issues with my unit. Customer service has helped me resolve issues but we need transparency into the data, their roadmap, and a solution for a potential leak in the system!

WHAT?!!?!?!? We own a small condo in San Diego, our SDGE bill last month was 412 dollars. How, in Texas, where you run your AC almost 24/7 and our was on for 2 weeks?!?!?!

Okay I'm confused you claim to be saving $130 a year but once you factor in your subscription for one year you're not saving anything and if you did the three years for $99 a year you would be saving like $20 so where is the actual savings coming in at it wouldn't even be worth it for that.

Ummm I didn't realize I paid for a subscription??? Either there's a new option or they are shady AF and don't mention the actual details clearly.
Tons of videos show how badly the thing damages the condenser coil every AC manufactures has stated these devices void their warranty.
