- I do not think this is the fix but it will not hurt! I do need some of this as the tissue test reviled but I do not think this is the issue. I think the issue is that the herbicide hurt this corn. weather its last years herbicide or this years herbicide I do not entirely know but its something! anyway im hopeful with a little rain it will pull through it and thrive but who knows.

Watching this on my 75 inch tv with living room surround sound system! Love to hear the old iron sing! Especially that 4230 spreading!!!
Thanks for the content Wes, love watching your videos, and look forward to them every day!
I have been watching since the 4960 burned!
Keep up the great work!
it always feels great to get back on a open station tractor - old school because i'm old
I agree. Hours of seat time are different, but on and off doing chores, I like open station. I’m definitely old!😊
Love your style, it's like a burst of creativity in every video!
I don’t know what your weather is but typically in my area yellowing corn happens when it get warm and it’s due to the microbe population exploding and consuming the nitrogen. Purple leaves is a localized phosphate deficiency. It doesn’t mean you have low Phos in the soil but usually stunted root issue from cool weather after germ. Phosphate is not very mobile in the soil structure. That’s my two cents worth
Thanks Wes. Looks like you have a handle on the problems. I hope you can get it all taken care of in time to have a nice yield this year.
Maybe these problems are why the previous farmer gave up on this property ?
👍👍😊😊
Thanks for your time and keep up the great work ethic out there and keep up the great work the great content wes
The Cybertruck looks like it was styled by the same guy that styled the original Gleaner rotaries.
Marestail became more of a problem with chemical programs and are now glyphosate+ resistant. Since it gets established the prior fall; a heavy planting of winter rye in late August/early September could drown most of it out in the fall and no impact in the spring.
🌽 yellow and purple? My thoughts just cold 🥶 wet feet ?? Not enough warm let alone HOT Days should get you back on track.
Nice video, the right calcium/magnesium ratio will pull them through
Corn looks good there Lonely!
It might indeed be a chemical damage. Back in Europe we used Mikado. If you applied in sharp weather and you doubled it, the corn would turn white 👍👍
I can't use the "purple indicator" because I'm growing heirloom corn that ranges from red, blue, to purple kernels and some stalks are purple.
Make “ok so” great again!!!
I saw my first cyber truck on car hauler I passed and as much as I hate the look of them they do look kinda cool not gonna lie and I don’t know why.
Very good Video 👍 👍
Have no input on your corn issues but hoping you have a great crop. My grandfather had a 77’ cab model 4230 that he purchased new that I had the opportunity to operate a lot of hours as a kid.
Good video.
Dicamba damage makes sense. Grass is a monocot just like corn, so the fact it is damaged suggests fertilizer isn’t the issue. Corn is pretty tough with respect to dicamba, was there anything else in the spray mix that could have amped up the Clarity?
Roots just not to the N yet. It’ll get there
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Was wondering how bad the damage has to get before the penergenik comes out. The cyber trucks are definitely an acquired taste. The biggest thumb’s down I have heard is the story of people being towed to the dealership because of a electrical failure and no mechanical backup for opening the doors. Lots of impressive technology upgrades like 48v electric to minimize conductor cost, corrosion, and power loss. Early 80's....spray bussiness.....had sprayer that had some residual of glean chemical in it from spraying wheat..sprayed corn after...corn turned yellow and purple...was a failure corn crop
It's a chemical thing...not nutrients or cold
We deffinetly get yellow and purple corn in cold wet conditions purple dont happen as much as it used to i think the hybrids are just better now
Hi from Florida
It is the cool temps and slight low levels together.
👍🏻🍻
I see a green hood in the field, I like the video, and happy
Hope it works.
Secret sauce. Get that symbiosis going again.
Nice video
Love the tractor struggling up the hill using fuel with the Tesla electric truck behind it, I would have thanked the truck drive for saving fuel so I can have more for the tractor 😂😂
holy shit wes that hill has never shown better on camera
It’s funny, the state doesn’t have a year round Deer Hunting Season. Sounds that well help most of the farmers
We have had 15 inches since planting corn ans beans are suffering big time we need warm dry days big time
if i farmed land like that it would wash away. why is it not washing as bad as i think it should. i have a 35 acre field with 13 terrraaces in it.. 32°25'21.62"N 84°11'5.66"W see if yo can look at this field Neal Shehee
Wes, can't you just do a lintel like yellow pea for next year? I mean, it might help the soil somewhat or am I missing something besides moisture and temperature?
Are you adding humic acid to your spray? Read a lot about it this year so I started adding a 20% humic at 1 quart per acre. Very interesting what the studies show it can do. Also, I’ve had marestail in a few fields the last several years and liberty absolutely smokes it when applied during warm days.
Is that the tractor you were working on in your shop?
No-till. Well almost no-till.
Hey Wes what sort of corn and what variety is it
😊😊😊😊😊😊
What is the pH level if that's to low fertilizer will not do its full potential
Mangenese or Magnesium Deficiency’s?
Purple in your corn could be cold night time temperatures
Our corn here in ohio is shoulder high and Im 6" 6"
Well I am in Iowa and it’s above my head and tasseling. I wouldn’t trade my Iowa ground for that stuff in Ohio ever.
@@timzona6829 Im sure you wouldnt but I sure Wouldnt want to be depending on his crop for my livlihood.
You might want to use a different soil testing company, sometimes “new eyes “can help see the problem.
Deer are a real problem.
I didn’t realize they bothered corn like they do beans
@@craigadair128they can pull the center out at early growth and remove what would be the tassel.
@@danw6014 try wild hogs in the south in GA Texas Alabama any where in between they do more damaged to corn than deer do

I can never figure out Fertiliser and Im older than you, it's a grey area of science which is odd when you think how important it is.
