    The yellow stuff is not poison. It’s more potent that the actual gel. The “yellow stuff” is great for treating rashes, bee stings, and acne, bruises etc. When used you will see improved results in a matter of a day. I live in the Bahamas and use the “yellow stuff” on my skin and daughters skin all the time. You can experience a slight itch for a couple mins but once it’s dries the itch goes away.

      Facts. That's not poison. That's spreading misinformation. I had bad allergies as a child in the Bahamas, my eyes was swell and be red with a bit of cold in it. And my mummy use to cut the bottom of the Aloe put the plant stem that was cut and place it in a half cup of water for 30mins or more. Then let me rinse my eyes out with the Aloe water and some of the yellow stuff would be on the plant. No issue. In about 30mins or so my eyes would start to feel better and the puffiness started to go away. I miss living back home so much natural remedies for good health.

So if you are allergic to latex, then you need to be extremely careful and make sure you remove the latex before using. It doesn't take long to remove it.

    I cut the bottom of the aloe vera leaf and let the leaf stand straight, and most of the yellow just leaks out in a couple of hours. Sometimes I even leave it standing outside overnight and cut a small piece of the bottom again in the morning just to make sure that there is no more yellow coming out. I also do this, because it helps decrease the strong smell that comes from cutting the aloe leaf that would otherwise linger in the entire house. Like some people said in the comments, I also learned that the yellow liquid is a laxative.

    • @courtneyprentice6480
      @courtneyprentice6480 Před 3 lety +18

      It don't have to be hours. When I cut the bottom, I let it sit under slow running water for a few seconds; just to make the aloe "nectar" flow away with the water. Then I just leave it in the kitchen sink for maybe about 20-30 mins to bleed out some more. And just wash off whatever is left when I return.
      Cut and use like normal. It doesn't smell or itch. It only takes a few minutes for it to bleed out...💁🏽

Some people are allergic to it and that may be why they think it is better to remove it, based on their own first hand experience with it. Almost every video containing aloe on YT has said the exact same thing about the "yellow stuff". To let it soak/sit in a bowl or cup of water. But, I agree that it is misleading. Suggestion:
    @ 5:45
    When putting the aloe vera gel in the application bottle.... try using a large funnel tube to drain it in the bottle.
    Hopefully, it might help with the process for next time...
    Also, I'm wondering 🤔🤔 maybe to use a spoon to swirl it around in the funnel tube (might be quicker to drain in the application bottle)
    Thank you for the video.... 💜
    Information was very knowledgeable.
