Red Cap Guy is a good example of how a person can act tough - even look tough to untrained eyes - but crumble completely at the first sign of resistance. All it took was a couple of soft punches and a loose tooth to render him a complete submissive. Obviously always try to avoid fights, but at the same time, don't be terrified to defend yourself if cornered, because your attacker could turn out to be as much of a coward as Red Cap Guy.

I see groups of bikers on the road about once a week in the summer, running lights, splitting lanes, near misses, etc. Nothing I say is going to change their riding habits, and eventually they crash.
Final analysis : 1. Biker was going too fast and if he can't see the light's colour, then he really needs to err on the side of caution and be safe. 2. Red hat guy needs to not be a dick and accept the apology. 3. The one biker who arrived second and thought he was tough would have likely got his ass kicked if he were alone. 4 Red hat got what he deserved because he sucker-slapped the first biker. 5. Taking the phone is theft, plain and simple. The biker taking it is an indication he doesn't want his license plate taken because he knows he went too far. I think the original biker should have and would laid him out!

Biker fucked up, and if the camera had been facing in the direction of travel, this would look like a completely different situation.
