Bosnia - Snipers Break 2 Month Old Ceasefire

- (14 Apr 1994) Ongoing diplomatic efforts to find peace in Bosnia have been
marred by an outbreak of sniper and machinegun fire in Sarajevo in
a serious violation of the two-month-old ceasefire in the city.
The first outburst of shooting lasted 45 minutes but resumed later
on Wednesday (13/4) evening, mainly around a section of Sarajevo's
Serb-Moslem front line.

Why a soldier would ever shoot civilians is beyond me.
In war, if they are not on your side they are your enemies. Not sure why people always complain about civilians getting killed. If I was in war, I would kill any moving thing that was not on my side.

We tried to lead normal life despite those barbarians on the hills who shelled civilians and sniped kids. That was one aspect of resistance, civilization against barbarism.

Ich bin Bosnier, und habe das hautnah erlebt, Sarajevo was von Sebischer Arme umsingelt, nur Scharfschützen und ser wenige Infantris haben sich in das Stadtinnere eingeschlichen, und haben auf alles was sich bewegte geschossen. Um die Stadt in den Bergen waren alle Haubitzen, Panzer etc positioniert, die 4 Jahre lang die Stadt beschossen haben.
