The Leaving of Liverpool, a traditional folk song. Played here on a Hohner Echo Harp (G side) Killarney D whistle, Yamaha PSS F30 keyboard and Takamine acoustic guitar. With a backing track programmed with "Chordpulse".
Just me having a bit of fun with a lively tune.

Hi Bonnie, I'm not a fancy harmonica player at all. I usually leave the harmonicas to our fried Ian who plays so much better than me. But it is fun to pick one up sometimes and have a go at a simple tune.

Hi Jim, it's a funny thing but we usually just stick to the tune when we play the whistle. I thought some little fills would be nice but when it came to recording them what do you actually play?

Hi Sam, I got the Hohner Echo Harp out for a post last Sunday and it got loads more views than I usually would. I had to know if it's the tune people like or the sound of the Echo Harp so I had another go this week. Of course there is a third possibility that people like the tune and the sound of the Echo Harp but not when I play it so they wouldn't want to come back for more!
