I love this box. The “Harry Potter” theme here is very subtle. However, it’s not very collectable-y like the other boxes. The items are not too in-your-face type of franchise memorabilia.
It’s definitely for people who want to add a little magic and whimsy into their daily lives without the franchise feel to it. I think it’s great!

@@kianakosack7800 Yeah but all other subscription boxes have things that are too toyish and plastic. I personally like items that look like they would actually exist in the wizarding world. I also enjoy paper items. For example litjoy boxes are so loved but for me they are so disappointing, especially their last one with the burrow.
@@Paula_Shelton Litjoy boxes have some random stuff . I dont like the photograph drawings they include, or stuffed animals. Last one they did was the worst by far . I do enjoy their add ons though :) especially the keys.

Hi Peter! Little note, Samhain is actually pronounced "sah-win" stressed on the first syllable! Not obvious at all. I only know because English is my second language so it is sort of a reflex for me when I encounter a new words of any language other than French to look up the pronounciation.

And it actually refers to the Pagan festivity that matches Halloween, hence the pumpkins 😉
@@ThePotterCollector It’s not that strange...it’s just how Gaelic languages are , the words are never written phonetically , there are always , what appear to us non Gaelic natives/speakers, some extra unnecessary letters to confuse us as how exactly are we supposed to pronounce said words ! Tho those extra silent letters actually signify emphasis, accents, etc ...
However, rest assured most people pronounce it as you did ...cause that how it’s pronounced in English ...the only people that pronounce it in Gaelic are either the people who speak Gaelic or the people who like to be more accurate, I guess !?

@@pedrogoncalves345 yes and no. It matches the dates, but Samhain (in gaelic) or Samaín (in spanish, because it’s also celebrated in some parts of Spain) is the celebration of the end of the Celtic crop season or, the end of the summer. And was considered the Celtic new year.
Halloween it’s a mix of Samaín and the mexican Día de los muertos.
Although the 3 celebrations are super fun 😋

You'd think at this point we'd feel like "Oh great, just what we need, *another* HP subscription box". But they never get old, ever. If there were 500 different companies that made these boxes, I'd watch all of them.
It's pretty nuts, isn't it? And they all seem to just keep improving!
So glad you chose to highlight them! I really really love seeing independently made items and boxes. It keeps a freshness to the wizarding world I think about it like pop up shops that open on nocturne alley or diagon alley, local witches and wizards that make products with passion and you can go in and support them. Licensed products are always fun, but this is an extension of the wizarding world that sometimes the licensed products can’t create a feeling of wonder and minute moments overlooked but seen by people that actually want to live in a magical world.
I can totally see Mrs. Weasley having that tea towel in her kitchen lol. Stunning products and I'm super impressed with the quality! That canvas....amazing! Definitely keep up with the unboxings of Mist & Magic!

It's amazing how you make me feel, Peter. Doesn't matter what kind of mood I'm in. When I watch your videos I feel like you're a best friend welcoming me into his home and just hanging out and talking all things Harry Potter. In a way it almost makes me feel sad that that is not actually true. It'd make me incredibly happy to be able to just hang out with you and talk about Potter all day and see your amazing collection. Even to just sit with you and read or watch the movies. Don't ever stop being you.

These are some of the most professionally designed items I've ever seen coming from a mystery box. Even though they aren't to my personal taste, I gotta admire how well crafted they are. Definitely open more of these.

I love the magical trading cards best too! I can totally see Ron and Harry trying to make trades and Hermione be like reading and correcting the cards and calling them “silly” 😂 I love when companies are creative and make up their own magical things

I really like this box. I wish the potion matched the poster but it's a really well done box. So sad to hear about Helen Mccrory. I hope one day they make a box to honor characters like Narcissa, Nagini, Tonks, Lupin, Cho Chang, etc. There's so many that they could honor. 💙🦅

Maaaaan these are amazing! My mouth dropped at the cards at the end, SO pretty....What I love about these items is that its not "harry potter merch" like an item with a logo slapped on, these are pieces of that world, as if theyre taken out of the world into ours! Amazing

Those glowing stones live on the window sill by my bedside table and make me so happy whenever I see them at night. Very magical. Also, each box they have a really detailed paper product like the license - previously it was a Winterdale admissions letter for Magical Shops - which is honestly way cooler than the Hogwarts one - and a Ministry of Magic Magizoologist investigation folder for Magical Creatures which might be my all-time favorite paper product though Cauldron Crate's recreation of Dumbledore's Will is definitely up there.
What a great unboxing Peter!. The items in the mist and magic box are all incredible although my favourite items would have to be the canvas prints as well as the Phoenix Tears pin.

The Moonwater Print is AMAZING and definitely my favorite item. Overall, this box looks such high quality and definitely worth it.
Edit: Went to their website and looked at their other products. They are beautiful and everyone there has done such a good job at designing and creating them. Definitely a favorite and I might buy this myself.

Every single item looks so authentic and beautifully designed! I’m usually underwhelmed by other subscription boxes, feel as though there are “filler” items and every item in this one looks just so much effort and thought was put into it.
