Best thing was the interview he did for the Dutch television. He was asked how did you managed to pull this win off. He said:" with my darts".
When he qualified for the WGP final, he was asked: how are you feeling?
He answered: aubergines

no it is not, but it is important to master all the 10+ triples, just in case you need them!
Treble 19 is normaly easier if your not tall enough. Am 1,78 and treble19 is more straight for me, treble 20 is a up throw wich makes it abit diffrent!

Hope dirk and Michael pair up for the World Cup oneday. Think this would he be a killer duo, may take a few years for it to happen though.
Considering De Zwaan gets injured every 10 minutes, Noppert is playing like shite atm and Wattimena's consistency is non existent, I think that they may very welll be the pair in the 2022 World Cup.

I don't know if I'd be comfortable with him driving me around in heavy traffic, but he sure adds a gladiator element to a televised event. I could hang out with him throwing darts.
This was not a sudden death, but a spectacular break! Sudden death is when both players throw for the bull to decide who can start. But Cross did not have to. He got it as a gift! Which made it even more spectacular!

Cross is going to fall out the top 20 let alone the top 10 if he don't get any consistency going soon.
Only defending a last 16 here but yeah he'll drop off a lot next year if he doesn't get to the semis in more tourneys

Cross is going downhill.
Sometimes players can be over-performing when they are on a run. I think we are expecting too much from Cross just because he clutched the world championship once. When in fact, it was a huge upset. I still think he is a good player but probably not top 5 in the world.
